New games get review bombed in reverse over on Pinside, people trying to justify paying 10-12k for a new machine.. generally takes 6-8months after a release to see it even out and fall from top spots..
Have you played the top 10? Godzilla definitely belongs in the top 3. Elvira House of horror is under rated imo.

I'm hoping to pick up Elvira. It kinda surprised me. I didn't expect to like it so much.
Games also get review bombed by owners who don't want something taking over their 12k toy or never recover from poor launch code as people never update reviews and new games change significantly over two years of rules changes. The Pinside Top 100 is a PR tool used by the site that is almost meaningless at this point.

Its a real testament that Twilight Zone is still the only purely-90s machine on this list.
along with the 90's versions of MM and AFM and MB...those games are lumped into the "new" versions in the ratings..the new ones rate higher by just barely because they are new and gtting fresh high score reviews..the old ones hold their own and always will..thanks for watching!

I really like Funhouse, No Good Gofers, and The Addams Family.
I still love playing plenty of the old 60s and 70s machines.
I have no clue about the list but I’m truly intrigued! I have played pinball machine’s before but my mind was blown visiting the hall of fame in Vegas! I didn’t think I’d spend as much time as I did! I spent 6 hours and went through $120. Well spent. Had so much fun! But the machine I kept coming back to was Shaq attaq! I for some reason could do decently on! I hit that moving basket soooo many times! And I’m a basketball player/fan so that held a little bit of bias 😅
You can find a decent Shaq pinball for 2500-4000 I’d imagine.. super fun game with a great gimmick
Batman '66 has recently become one of my favorites. Took me awhile to learn how to play it, but once I figured it out I can't stop playing!

JP Premium was my first NIB pin ever, and I’ll put it even higher on this list (though 4’s pretty effin good)! After the recent 30th Anny code, its repeat playability is off the charts. SO happy I chose it! 🤘🤘😅🤷♂️
Solid list. I have not played a lot of these machines and hope one day to change that to zero not played.

Godzilla doesn’t have everything, but it has more than the rest: fast, controllable, different paths, catchy music (and original from the first Toho movie), fun shots, not a drain queen, no f’ing Borg bounce.
Iron Maiden has a lot of flowing shots, and a lot better than one would think.
Deadpool is just plain fun.
I was pleasantly surprised how fun Rush premium is, NOT the pro.
Mando was biggest disappointment
The Godzilla machine we have here in town is tough! I can get some decent runs on it, but it drains on both sides quite a bit. I've given up nudging it because it's so dang sensitive. I may just ask the operator to lower the tilt bulb just a bit. Super fun and addicting game though! I'm blown away with the huge number of things to do, and so many paths the ball can flow.
Great video man, Today i got to play Monster Bash LE - Jurassic park Pr- Medieval madness - Godzilla premium - Cactus Canyon at Arcade Time Entertainment Florida! It was sick! i agree that Godzilla is king, my wife and I also loved monster bash and medieval madness 🤘
Remakes, meh. The better color graphics are good to see and I’m glad they improved (finished) Cactus Canyon. For me Lord of the Rings is missing from this list - rule depth, theme and sounds are all excellent.

Any greatest pinball list that doesn't have The Addams Family on it is wrong.
Addams was definitely the most sold game ever, but popularity doesn’t always equate to best.. it is consistently a top 20 machine and pops in and out of the top 10 depending on the month you look at the ratings, I think it was 12 or so when I last made this..thanks for checking it out!
Not only should have Adam's family been in the top 10. It should have been in the number one spot.
Leaving Adam's family out of the top 10 is like leaving Mohammad Ali out of Boxings top 10.

i have put about 350 games on Godzilla and can tell you that it IS the KING OF PINBALL!
I've owned a pro for 3 months..played about 600 games..yes..i agree..it's incredible and deep and controllable and fast and fun and just might be the best game i've ever played..MM was it for a long time..but this is better...
I want a G1 Transformers table with Cullen and Welker voicing Optimus and Megatron.
I used to work in a bar that had a twilight zone, could never get the power ball to release
There is one I've played that has only once ever released the power ball for me. It's lighter and feels weird to play.
It's just so hard to top Medieval Madness. Hardly anything comes close.
Interesting cool ....................................... and I would sooooo have the AC/DC pinball up there too as it`s just all round brilliant but then again after 10 years perhaps some folks have finally got bored of it
It's a good job pinball wasn't invented before 1995, hell the list would be massively different. A good pinball machine, doesn't mean it HAS to have multi-ball or video mode.
I just don't get the love on Pinside for Medieval Madness. It wouldn't even be in my top 10. Personally, I put Monster Bash as my #1 and swap out AC/DC for Iron Maiden. I'm a huge Iron Maiden fan and really considered buying one but opted for AC/DC instead and still stand by that purchase. Cactus Canyon remake is pretty but it's kind of boring and repetitive when playing it. I'll be curious to see if the new Stern 007 machine makes the list a year from now.
I haven't heard of any of these games. That's how I know they're the best of all time. The best movie of all time is something recent too, that I've also never heard of.
to be fair..3 of the games on the list are pushing 30 years old..in fact..Twilight zone is 30 this year.
For me the first is "The Addams Family".

great theme it`s a bit polarizing though, for some it`s the tops but for others like me I`m not that keen on it gameplaywise
Pretty good list.....Keith Elwin with 3 pins on the Top 10 and the guy has only been designing for about 6 years. Godzilla is absolutely incredible.....It's my favorite pinball machine but Medieval Madness is absolutely classic as is Attack From Mars. From the list I own Godzilla, Attack From Mars & Twilight Zone. A few others deserving honorable mention IMO are Theatre of Magic & Indiana Jones Pinball Adventures......both of those are worthy contenders for a Top 10 All-Time list. Some of the n00bs on Pinside rank the modern day Stern pins way too high compared to the 90's era Bally/Williams stuff. Games like Metallica, Rush, GnR, Stranger Things, AC/DC, Spiderman, Batman 66 and several others on that Pinside list don't even belong in the Top 50.
Stranger things does have an awesome gimmick though... That black light to the upside down is amazing. And Batman 66 not on the 50? The code on that game is amazing! Plus the themes man, the themes!
Im a big Metallica fan, and i have to say... I don't like that game much... It should probably be lower... Music pins should have their own sub category.
Theatre of magic is kinda boring if you own it tough. It just shoots too easy.

I don’t make the list, just report the numbers, brand new games get review bombed on Pinside by folks attempting to justify 9k price tags on pro model games.. eventually, actual fair reviews and numbers even out the guys with buyers remorse and the games fall into their correct place.. however.. I spent 3 hours playing a Godzilla premium this weekend.. and it is fucking magnificent.. so.. it might stay up there for a while.. it might be better than medieval madness … and that’s my favorite game of all time…
@@CaptNRetro I played Godzilla a few times , even with Ralph. We loved it. They didn’t give many old games much love. My friend has a medieval madness remake. I have to play that.
Its #40 currently and thats pretty accurate. Its a good game, but not great. Sorry if you own it and your placebo makes you think otherwise.
I have a JP premium. It's a great pin, but I wouldn't say it's a top 5 pinball machine. It's a really smooth shooter though but the rule set is harder to follow than a lot of others in the top 10. They also should have added spots to the playfield foreground. Easy mod, but still should have been done out of the facotry. I've debated trading it in for a new Godzilla.

Kinda surprised Godzilla smashed its way into the top spot so soon after it’s release. Still I have a soft side for Ghostbusters and the Adams Family, a little surprised they didn’t make the list .
Ghostbusters has a glaring design flaw, and stern did nothing to fix it before mass production, the flippers are too far apart..it's gorgeous..but it's a SDTM monster due to flipper gap..Addams is the number one selling machine of all time..but that doesn't equate to gameplay..it's in the top 50...again..I don't make the list..just reporting it..but I had a Godzilla pro for about 5 months..it has become my personal favorite game..it's incredible
Late reply, but I'm also a huge fan of Adams Family. I know of a nice looking one for sale at $12K but sadly, that's a bit out of my budget.

Interesting! It is strongly biased towards recent releases and remakes. The list would look a whole lot different if you take the Internet Pinball Database rankings, but that list again is biased towards the 90s table.

Feels predictable other than CC. I don’t know much of anyone other than people excited to get the remake that would have that in their top 10. I do also think EHOH is wildly overrated. The Shadow and The Walking Dead would definitely make it for me and likely LotR.
would be cool if it was your list and not just taken from Pinside. For me, Iron Maiden is number 1. World Cup Soccer 94 would be in the top 10. Lord of the Rings top 5. Weird Al top 10. Just my opinion

in the vpx world World Cup Soccer 94 was stuck in VP9 only for ages but thankfully was made good recently in VPX which I was very thankful for cos it`s an excellent game

No, this is based on qualified score rankings from the actual pinball community. AF is a great game, but its not great compared to many games from the last 6-7 years. Sorry bro
