I niched down to just clothing 11 months ago, I used to be a variety seller but I made a contact while Carbooting who has since supplied me with stock consistently, it is kind of a all my eggs in one basket but right now it’s working. I miss variety selling and but as a whole clothing is easier to store, easier to list, easier to post, I don’t have to get up early for Carbooting or charity shopping, gives me the extra time to put in other aspects of my business, it does obviously have some negatives such as returns for not fitting, but all in all I’ve doubled my profits from the year previous and I enjoy clothing
I tried to niche down for 6 months, walked past a lot of money :( I also got bored after 6 months and it became a bit of a grind. Needless to say, I am now not a niche seller!
great vid dave im chomping at the bit to get going with the carboot season very few on around me . the crossfire games do well if complete i sold 3 last year £50 each just a paint to wrap up lol

My son resells anything like you. I think a lot of resellers narrow down to clothing, trainers or games because they are easy to pack but there is a lot of money to be made with other things. My son sells a lot of mobility walkers and gets me to pack them. He says it keeps my brain active😊 Do you sell on Whatnot at all as a lot of resellers seem to be jumping on that bandwagon.
Whatnot doesn't hold any interest for me. If I want to look at more than the 2 platforms I operate on in the future, it will need to be a lot more autonomous. As time is my single biggest consideration.

The large boxes are full of new bicycle mudguard sets. I have a fair bit of Amazon overstock here too. I need more storage space 🤣

I decided to niche down because it streamlines the processes & removes the guess work.
Packing, photos & listings are all now quicker, which gives more time to source better stock.
For me everything items required more testing, packing, different photo set ups, etc
