Felice is literally amazing. She is such a good friend. Also, probably one of my favorite tropes is when friends make common and relatable mistakes that hurt one another, decide to have a conversation about it, and then quickly forgive one another. No drama for the sake of drama.
Same!! I need more healthy communication in shows instead of no one talking and making wrong assumptions instead just to build drama through the miscommunication. Sara should take a page out of her book…
Interesting facts: Edvin shared that one of the most emotional scenes for him was the one of Wille putting the wig on and realizing he is becoming the image of a prince.
And Edvin heard Simon's song for the first time recording that last scene.

@@RaineInChaos I think even in English it's not that blatant in your face unless you know their story, but I'd gather if anyone would pick up on that it would be Wille!
To me, this episode was the strongest of the season. The acting was excellent and the development in them too. I think Simon needed these two moments, at the lunch table and the ball. It's the one thing to decide against something you can always return to but something else to have this choice taken from him. Wille moving on opened Simon's eyes. And it became very obvious how he realizes Markus will never be the same by stopping recreating (no named fishes). I hate how Markus becomes so possessive though. He didn't want to go to the ball until he learned Simon has to and won't just belong to him alone. He clung to him all the time and tried to pressure him to leave as soon as possible to his place. You can tell how uncomfortable Simon feels about it all.
Oh that scene got to me too. They've done such a good job of showing layers of emotions this season. For better or worse it really hits you in the chest.

I cried during E3 and E4. Their heartbreak feels so real. The cast are wonderful actors. The more I watch S2 the more I see how brilliant the writing and acting are.

Felice turning out to not be The Mean Girl™️ has been such a pleasant surprise in this series. I love her and I hope she gets a happy ending to her story before the series wraps up for good.

Simon: "I'm not ready for a serious relationship. I don't think I'll ever be ready for a relationship with you (A.K.A even though we were never official, I'm breaking up with you)."
Marcus: "I'm in no rush. We'll take things slow. (A.K.A I'm pretending to give you boundaries, but am, actually ignoring your desire to breakup)."
The next day:
Marcus kisses Simon in front of everyone without Simon's consent.
The day after that:
Marcus: "Want to stay the night alone together at my place after you perform since you are obligated to go to the ball and I don't want to go?" (A.K.A I want sexy times, but I'm uninterested in that kind of date, even though this is the FIRST AND ONLY TIME you have asked me to do something publicly with you.) [Simon asking Marcus to the ball is literally the ONLY public thing he asked Marcus to do together. All the other date-like stuff they did together Marcus asked Simon to, or Simon initiated a private meet up because he didn't want to be seen publicly with Marcus, for fear people might view him as Marcus' potential boyfriend].
Marcus, Simon tried to break up with you a few days ago and now you're inviting him to stay the night for an obvious hook-up?
Sir, this is NOT what you promised! None of this is what taking things "SLOW" looks like! Marcus is respecting ZERO of Simon's boundaries. Marcus is toxic as fuck and ignores what his partner asks for. REASONABLE REQUESTS. Maybe me being a queer woman just makes me see all of this differently, but I've heard literal therapists say the same shit about Marcus. Simon made it pretty damn clear this was a rebound for him and he didn't want his time with Marcus to lead anything. Marcus ignored that for his own wants. Simon and Wilhelm's relationship is far from healthy (but makes strides this season). At least in season 2 Wilhelm and Simon start being honest, listening to each other, considering each other's wellbeing, and thinking about the other person's position emotionally/in society. Plus, they ask and respect what the other person WANTS before doing or saying anything. I don't know if Wilhelm and Simon will last longterm though (like into their 40's and marriage and stuff), but I think they could be really great while they last. As long as no one ends up with Marcus or August I'll be okay. If Marcus or August end up with a couple with any character I like, I'm going to be MAD. I know. TLDR, but I needed to rant.

I was waiting to see if you would get the «if you know you know scene» ! It just shows how much he doesn’t care about Marcus.
I love that Felice and Wilhelm talked about it, and that they are better as just friends. August seems to have genuine feelings for Sara, but she desided not to go with him to the ball and instead go with the girls, because of what Felice said about the drama of dating a royal, and she's glad, she's over that etc. And the episode getting to you like that, sending hugs.

This season is a real gut punch, we don’t get as many sweet and chill moments but still so much drama and tension. It’s a lot! I would love to see you do a video with someone else while you’re not in London because you really get to bounce off the other person. Your such a extrovert! Also loved you having such a real moment at the end of the episode and not editing it out. It’s why I love watching your videos, it feels like your with a real friend and not a stranger on YT, I desperately wanted to give you a hug. ❤

I have two best friends one I’ve been friends with for 36 years we met in preschool but she moved to a different state when we were kids but I still get to see her at least twice a year and I have another best friend I’ve known her for over 20 years but didn’t become friends until 2011 and I see her almost every day.
Simon is not actually trying to make Wille jealous but is genuinely trying to move on and forget about him. But once Wille tells him he’ll leave him alone now he realizes that this is not what he wants. He knows that it will always be different with Wille because they have something special!

Yes, in the beginning, Simon was just trying to move on and Marcus was a rebound. After Simon found about Wille and Felice making out, I think Simon did want to cause a bit of jealousy. But as soon as Wille decided to let Simon go, he realized he didn’t want to lose Wille.
@@moonchiId. yes, i guess the party scene was the only time he actually could have made wille jealous but his whole “situationship” with marcus was never about making him jealous because wille was not supposed to see any of it! that’s all i meant :) it’s not like he got with marcus just to cause jealousy on willes part but yes he did glance at him while they were dancing but i think mostly because he was still confused and as you said he’s 16 so i really get it!

I think August tried to be a better person, but his disappointment that Sarah did not go to the ball with him made him angry. He seems totally lost and Sarah was his anker.

You never know when a show like this is going to particularly affect your feelings, and I can understand how the end of this episode might’ve affected you emotionally. I can think of times when that’s happened to me in a movie or television series, and you never know when a moment like that’s going to happen. It does impress me how this show allows all five of what I think of as the principal characters to make bad decisions at times as well as do what at least seem to be admirable things. Even the most unlikable of characters have moments of real feeling - and yes, I’m talking about August. That doesn’t negate the terrible things he does, but it makes him a more well-rounded character. The important thing is not whether a character occasionally does something unwise but that they learn and grow from the mistakes they make. And on a totally different note, I wouldn’t at all mind seeing your friend Andrew pop up in one of these videos. He seems like a nice guy, and he’s certainly easy on the eyes.👀

Always enjoy your reactions, so much like mine. But a slight correction; Wille doesn't really realize the song is for him. One of the ongoing themes of the show is the damage done by entitlement. Wille's desire for revenge and his entitled upbringing blind him. As Simon tells him in the end of season 1, "You expect everything to be on your terms!" This will continue to come between them and, hopefully, he will figure this out before the end of the season.
