Yes, that's what I immediately thought of. Wilhelm said it to Simon at the end of S1 and now Simon said it to Wilhelm at the end of S2. It's perfect. At first, I wanted Wilhelm to say it back, but then I realized it was just right how it was.
I think in Season One, Wilhelm said it but his actions at the time didn't necessarily back that up (I know I know he was a prince and pressure and yada yada talking points). This season, he didn't say it but he showed it which is really what Simon needed.

He decided to do something truly selfless and finally did right by Simon, after Simon admitted he loved him and was also willing to be selfless by agreeing to a secret relationship. Wilhelm doesn't need to say it back. He already said it in the finale of Season 1 and he made it very clear throughout Season 2 that it's still very true. This was Simon finally saying it back, that's why he did it in the same way Wilhelm said it.

I would love to see that interview with Edvin if you can remember where you saw it. I watched another reaction video where the creator said in that moment Wilhelm gave the speech of a true leader and became the king. I thought that was pretty cool!

Oh my god. This ending is just perfect. The whole season was so well thought out. And it's beautiful... the story, the cinematography, the soundtrack. One thing I realized about Sara being the one to report it to the police is that she has another valuable piece of evidence: She saw August at the computer where the video was posted from, at the time it was posted. And the fact that August also admitted it to her. Who knows if that will come into play, but it will be interesting to see! I can't wait for Season 3.
Yes she has her eye witness evidence, but I am still petrified that August will still bring up the drugs and Simon may get kicked out of school. That would also add another layer of drama to the Wilhelm and Simon relationship, class difference, queer and then the drugs… this has me stressing majorly 😬

I also LOVE SO MUCH that the last part was just about them. There were the cameras flashing and the voices until there were any noise and it just became Wille and Simon staring at each other, even when there was a lot of people and movement, we see all like they are feeling it, a moment just about them supporting each other 💛
At the end of the episode, Simon relaxed into something he had not been, and Wilhelm physically changed stature both physically and verbally. Simon learned to trust and Wilhelm became a true leader (anchored in truth and wisdom from his experience)
This was about Simon saying it back, but even though Wilhelm said it in the season 1 finale, he did more than that in this episode by showing Simon that he loves him so much that he is in effect announcing it in his speech for everyone to witness, including the media as even if the Crown tried to block the story being reported, so many students have their phones out, it would be impossible. And he overcomes his fear of public speaking and anxiety issues to give the speech, too. That shared look at the end says everything and the stare to camera for me, at least, says, ‘I did it, but this is only the beginning…’
I love the message behind all this. How the truth will protect you and those you love and not lies. I really think, by making Simon kind of official, Wille protected him the most. As the kronprinz bf, the royal family won't let any dirt on him. As the kronprinz is more important than his cousin. And so August won't be able to stick any drug shit on him. Also, by being openly queer, the court will have a way harder time to cut Wille out and replace him with the straight cousin, if it doesn't want to stir a greater scandal.

Wille showed his love beyond doubt by telling Simon that he would renounce the throne to be free with him and by supporting his decision to go to the police even though that let him without option.
It was great re-watching both seasons with you. I can't wait for the third season to be aired. I love their love. Edvyn said that the final scene of the third season is his favorite. I've been watching your reaction videos of Heartstopper, Skam France and Young Royals silently for a while now because although I enjoyed all of them, I didn't know what to comment. It feels like re-watching a series with a friend and it's so much fun, your reactions are very real and you seem like a very kind soul. I just wanted to thank you for creating this channel which feels like a safe spot to me, since I don't know anybody of our community (yet) and don't really know how to reach out. I've only accepted myself for who I am this year so I'll be taking some time for myself to get more comfortable, but I hope to meet some kind friends someday. So yeah, just thanks for being you and being here for us really! Regarding this last episode, there happened so much so fast it was crazy. I feel like Wille wanted to show Simon rather than tell him that he loves him this time. It's beautiful to see that they both found back to each other again despite all the drama and offering each other exactly what they demanded (Simon keeping them a secret but Wille telling the truth in public even). I just really hope the royal family or the public drama won't be able to force them apart. What I'd really like to see of more in all these drama shows is some happy time of the couples together without any drama, even if it's just one episode, give us some happiness! And my recommendation is Half Bad! They finally turned my most favourite book series into a TV series and although they changed it quite a bit, I still recommend it absolutely. It's more of a fantasy series and has a lot of action but I still hope you give it a go. I feel like the series deserves more attention. It has 8 episodes and it's so exciting. I'd really love to hear what you think of the characters and story and re-watch it with you! Thinking about it, I wonder if Simon's 'I love you' was also dubbed on here afterwards (we didn't actually SEE him say it) as was Wilhelm's 'I love you' at the end of the first season. If it was dubbed on after the scene, I wonder why? Maybe Omar and Edvin were uncomfortable about saying the words at the time.
@@showmoke I don't think so. In S1 Edvin didn't say "I love you" because it wasn't in the script. They added it afterwards. But in S2 it was definitely planed for Simon to say that. 😍

Perhaps one of the best shows on television today! Excellent actors/directors/producers who have shown that there is more to our message than the word gay! Along with life's challenges..with life's drama..there is LOVE! If season 3 happens let it end in happiness!! If not ..let season 2 be the end!! CHEERS!
So for once I managed to not binge the whole show at once, but instead I accidentally saw a spoiler for the ending and was so angry at myself 😥 It would have been so amazing to watch that without knowing what was gonna happen. Oh well. I actually thought Wilhelm would shoot August, I mean this show loves to shock its audience. But I loved that August protected Sara and didn't tell on her. I think he genuinely likes her. Sorry about the long comment but I saw an analysis about this season that I really loved. That it ended the way it started. In the first scene Wilhelm close the door on his mother and put on his brother's jacket. In the last scene he figuratively(?) close the door to the queen and royal court, he goes his own way and wont be manipulated again. And he picks up his brother's mantle, he takes over his role as crown prince. I don't know but it really made me appreciate this season and how much thought everyone put into it.
Loved this so much, cannot wait for season 3 which definitely needs to happen! As for recommendations maybe for something fun you could check out Schitts Creek not only is it absolutely hilarious but David and Patrick are 100% couple goals ♥

Your reaction to this final episode was everything I could’ve hoped it would be! I think we can all agree we definitely need a third season. I think I may have mentioned it before, but since you enjoyed Bad Buddy, I think you would also like another GMMTV Thai show called Vice Versa, in which Jimmy, who played Wai, has one of the leading roles and both Ohm and Nanon from BB play smaller but very significant roles.
I saw this episode at my best friends house and I screamed at the end. The speech got me so excited those smiles got me so excited what Sara did shocked me. Also I said right after that I need season 3 now.
Last season Wille said I love you, but wasn’t able to show it, so it probably felt a bit empty and futile from Simon’s perspective; his love wasn’t enough to compel him to come out. This time though, instead of saying it quietly to Simon, he shows it to the world. The music lyrics at the end “and you loved me, I could feel it” finally make sense when coupled with the shot of Simon smiling in relief as it voices that though Wille didn’t say I love you right before, Simon finally truly feels Wille loves him as he goes against his (rightful) fear to declare his love and queer identity publicly. That to me is more powerful than Wille just saying I love you back again.
It was so nice to rewatch this season with you! And what an ending eh! Much more uplifting than the 1st season's for sure but I for one wanna see August get his comeuppance in the next season. My rec is definitely the German version of Skam, Druck. I wouldn't mind at all seeing the whole series since all the stories are so good. They change it up a bit compared to the original and French version.

"When two closeted teenage boys share a night of passion in a secluded forest, they inadvertently become the only eyewitnesses of a violent killing spree. When you were asking why Wille didn't say "I love you" back to Simon, I actually realized that he was going to say it in his own way by coming out about the video, which he lied about at the end of season 1. It felt like his way of saying, "I'm not going to make you be a secret."

Beautiful end, and yes, we need season 3! Unrelated but did anybody else pick up on subtle signs that Felice could be pregnant? There was this comment about going to the toilet all the time, one time Felice says "I'm really tired." Like these are totally normal things but in movies, shows, etc they can signal pregnancy. I don't know, on one hand, I think I'm reading too much into it and being paranoid, on the other hand, it's possible. And you know what, it would be August's so that would cause even more drama.

Your reactions lessened the awfulness of me being in the hospital these past 3 months. Thank you. My favorite part about the ending of S2 is Wilhelm is essentially saying, "Fuck closets. I don't want to be in one anymore, and I'm not forcing Simon back into one. It'd make him so unhappy and he deserves better. I don't want him to be my secret." Season 2 was PERFECT IMO. If we don't get more seasons, I'm marching on Netflix headquarters. My major fear for season 3 (🤞🏻we get one) is a HUGE one. Sara going to the cops about August leaking the tape is great. I love it. It's Sara taking responsibility for her complicity in his August's actions. August could potentiality (though unlikely), be held accountable for what he did. Great stuff. The thing I worry about is if this will lead into an investigation of Simon. Will the cops go after Simon for supplying the booze to Wilhelm's welcoming party? Could he be prosecuted for stealing his dad's pills and having August sell them at Hillerska since August didn't have money to pay Simon for the booze? My biggest fear is that all this joy and emotional/relationship growth will lead to Simon's peril when it's finally Wilhelm and Simon's opportunity to be openly, unashamedly, happily a couple. August paying for Rousseau was sweet and shows that does have genuine feelings for Sara, but August will ALWAYS put himself first. How the hell was she supposed to continue to afford Rousseau, huh? August may have bought her the physical horse, but horses cost to feed, board, vet bills, etc. Thoroughbreds are especially expensive. It shows he did not understand or care about HER life. It was all about him and how Sara made HIM feel. Sara had to put her own fucking food back when her friends thoughtlessly left it for Sara to pay for all of their coffees that one morning. Sara had to use her savings account money to pay for her friends' luxuries. A lot of thoughtless behavior from rich people all around on this show, but it was a particularly thoughtless "gift" from August. The wildest, but most face-saving idea to solve the blackmail for everyone in season 3 (I only want to protect August just to keep Simon from any potential trouble) is if Simon's dad takes responsibility for all of the drugs, booze, and stuff as some kind of atonement for his past unspecified abusive behavior. Yes, Micke being a horrible father/husband who refused help for addiction is enough justification for the level of anger Sara and Simon feel towards him, but I always got the feeling there was a bigger picture there. Their dad is obviously not afraid to be physically violent with them- judging by how he grabbed Simon and slammed him against the wall in S1. I think something major happened in their family before the show. Possibly something bad Micke did that he should have been turned into the police for, but wasn't for some reason. Micke going to jail for one of his kids would in a fucked up way hypothetically be him taking responsibility for what he could've done bad then and finally chosen his childrens' wellbeing over himself. Simon never wanted to do that drug shit in the 1st place. August gave him no choice. Simon never would've done it otherwise. Every time August did something bad, he knew it was illegal and did it anyway because he WANTED to. 100% choice on his end. I know, TLDR, but season 2 gripped me so hard.
i saw wilhelm look at simon and that gave him the courage to stand up. iam so happy that wilhelm told everyone that it was him in the video that prove that he is so much in love with simon and also he want to be with him as well and when after his speach he look back to simon and he gave him a smaile that mean he saying i love u too and he want to be with him and now simon is not on his own in this anymore because they in this together .what a nice ending for season 2 i love it so much and i cant waite for season 3.

I think Wilhelm got so frustrated/angry that he wasn't thinking straight, when he pointed that rifle at August, I don't think he would actually hurt him, but scare him deffinately. In the moment I understand how it looked to Sara like August was trying to get back in her good books/buy her by buying her the horse, and like he didn't take the situation seriously, even if it was a genuine gesture. Loved the scene when Simon said that he loved him, like Wilhelm did in season 1. Looking forward to see what's going to happen after Sara makes that call, and how her possible redemption will be, and how Simon and Wilhelm will handle the whole situation around them.
...and I thought that this season will be darker, let's brace ourselves for the next season, every sides are involved now, the police, the Royal family, Simon's family, the school, complications are beyond Hillerska. Oh my god. This ending is just perfect. The whole season was so well thought out. And it's beautiful... the story, the cinematography, the soundtrack.
One thing I realized about Sara being the one to report it to the police is that she has another valuable piece of evidence: She saw August at the computer where the video was posted from, at the time it was posted. And the fact that August also admitted it to her. Who knows if that will come into play, but it will be interesting to see! I can't wait for Season 3.
Yes she has her eye witness evidence, but I am still petrified that August will still bring up the drugs and Simon may get kicked out of school. That would also add another layer of drama to the Wilhelm and Simon relationship, class difference, queer and then the drugs… this has me stressing majorly 😬

I also LOVE SO MUCH that the last part was just about them. There were the cameras flashing and the voices until there were any noise and it just became Wille and Simon staring at each other, even when there was a lot of people and movement, we see all like they are feeling it, a moment just about them supporting each other 💛
At the end of the episode, Simon relaxed into something he had not been, and Wilhelm physically changed stature both physically and verbally. Simon learned to trust and Wilhelm became a true leader (anchored in truth and wisdom from his experience)
This was about Simon saying it back, but even though Wilhelm said it in the season 1 finale, he did more than that in this episode by showing Simon that he loves him so much that he is in effect announcing it in his speech for everyone to witness, including the media as even if the Crown tried to block the story being reported, so many students have their phones out, it would be impossible. And he overcomes his fear of public speaking and anxiety issues to give the speech, too. That shared look at the end says everything and the stare to camera for me, at least, says, ‘I did it, but this is only the beginning…’
W said I love you at the end of S1. Now S says it at end of S2.
I love the message behind all this. How the truth will protect you and those you love and not lies. I really think, by making Simon kind of official, Wille protected him the most. As the kronprinz bf, the royal family won't let any dirt on him. As the kronprinz is more important than his cousin. And so August won't be able to stick any drug shit on him. Also, by being openly queer, the court will have a way harder time to cut Wille out and replace him with the straight cousin, if it doesn't want to stir a greater scandal.

Wille showed his love beyond doubt by telling Simon that he would renounce the throne to be free with him and by supporting his decision to go to the police even though that let him without option.

I've been watching your reaction videos of Heartstopper, Skam France and Young Royals silently for a while now because although I enjoyed all of them, I didn't know what to comment. It feels like re-watching a series with a friend and it's so much fun, your reactions are very real and you seem like a very kind soul. Regarding this last episode, there happened so much so fast it was crazy. I feel like Wille wanted to show Simon rather than tell him that he loves him this time. It's beautiful to see that they both found back to each other again despite all the drama and offering each other exactly what they demanded (Simon keeping them a secret but Wille telling the truth in public even). I just really hope the royal family or the public drama won't be able to force them apart. What I'd really like to see of more in all these drama shows is some happy time of the couples together without any drama, even if it's just one episode, give us some happiness!
And my recommendation is Half Bad! They finally turned my most favourite book series into a TV series and although they changed it quite a bit, I still recommend it absolutely. It's more of a fantasy series and has a lot of action but I still hope you give it a go. I feel like the series deserves more attention. It has 8 episodes and it's so exciting. I'd really love to hear what you think of the characters and story and re-watch it with you!

Corey - they DID say 'I love you' to each other, just not at the same time. This time it was Simon who said it Wilhelm. At the end of the first season, Wilhelm said it to Simon.
Thinking about it, I wonder if Simon's 'I love you' was also dubbed on here afterwards (we didn't actually SEE him say it) as was Wilhelm's 'I love you' at the end of the first season. If it was dubbed on after the scene, I wonder why? Maybe Omar and Edvin were uncomfortable about saying the words at the time.
@@showmoke I don't think so. In S1 Edvin didn't say "I love you" because it wasn't in the script. They added it afterwards. But in S2 it was definitely planed for Simon to say that. 😍

So for once I managed to not binge the whole show at once, but instead I accidentally saw a spoiler for the ending and was so angry at myself 😥 It would have been so amazing to watch that without knowing what was gonna happen. Oh well.
I actually thought Wilhelm would shoot August, I mean this show loves to shock its audience. But I loved that August protected Sara and didn't tell on her. I think he genuinely likes her.
Sorry about the long comment but I saw an analysis about this season that I really loved. That it ended the way it started. In the first scene Wilhelm close the door on his mother and put on his brother's jacket. In the last scene he figuratively(?) close the door to the queen and royal court, he goes his own way and wont be manipulated again. And he picks up his brother's mantle, he takes over his role as crown prince. I don't know but it really made me appreciate this season and how much thought everyone put into it.
Loved this so much, cannot wait for season 3 which definitely needs to happen! As for recommendations maybe for something fun you could check out Schitts Creek not only is it absolutely hilarious but David and Patrick are 100% couple goals ♥

Your reaction to this final episode was everything I could’ve hoped it would be! I think we can all agree we definitely need a third season. I think I may have mentioned it before, but since you enjoyed Bad Buddy, I think you would also like another GMMTV Thai show called Vice Versa, in which Jimmy, who played Wai, has one of the leading roles and both Ohm and Nanon from BB play smaller but very significant roles.
I saw this episode at my best friends house and I screamed at the end. The speech got me so excited those smiles got me so excited what Sara did shocked me. Also I said right after that I need season 3 now.
Last season Wille said I love you, but wasn’t able to show it, so it probably felt a bit empty and futile from Simon’s perspective; his love wasn’t enough to compel him to come out. This time though, instead of saying it quietly to Simon, he shows it to the world. The music lyrics at the end “and you loved me, I could feel it” finally make sense when coupled with the shot of Simon smiling in relief as it voices that though Wille didn’t say I love you right before, Simon finally truly feels Wille loves him as he goes against his (rightful) fear to declare his love and queer identity publicly. That to me is more powerful than Wille just saying I love you back again.
It was so nice to rewatch this season with you! And what an ending eh! Much more uplifting than the 1st season's for sure but I for one wanna see August get his comeuppance in the next season.
My rec is definitely the German version of Skam, Druck. I wouldn't mind at all seeing the whole series since all the stories are so good. They change it up a bit compared to the original and French version.

Beautiful end, and yes, we need season 3! Unrelated but did anybody else pick up on subtle signs that Felice could be pregnant? There was this comment about going to the toilet all the time, one time Felice says "I'm really tired." Like these are totally normal things but in movies, shows, etc they can signal pregnancy. I don't know, on one hand, I think I'm reading too much into it and being paranoid, on the other hand, it's possible. And you know what, it would be August's so that would cause even more drama.

Your reactions lessened the awfulness of me being in the hospital these past 3 months. Thank you. My favorite part about the ending of S2 is Wilhelm is essentially saying, "Fuck closets. I don't want to be in one anymore, and I'm not forcing Simon back into one. It'd make him so unhappy and he deserves better. I don't want him to be my secret." Season 2 was PERFECT IMO. If we don't get more seasons, I'm marching on Netflix headquarters. My major fear for season 3 (🤞🏻we get one) is a HUGE one. Sara going to the cops about August leaking the tape is great. I love it. It's Sara taking responsibility for her complicity in his August's actions. August could potentiality (though unlikely), be held accountable for what he did. Great stuff. The thing I worry about is if this will lead into an investigation of Simon. Will the cops go after Simon for supplying the booze to Wilhelm's welcoming party? Could he be prosecuted for stealing his dad's pills and having August sell them at Hillerska since August didn't have money to pay Simon for the booze? My biggest fear is that all this joy and emotional/relationship growth will lead to Simon's peril when it's finally Wilhelm and Simon's opportunity to be openly, unashamedly, happily a couple.
August paying for Rousseau was sweet and shows that does have genuine feelings for Sara, but August will ALWAYS put himself first. How the hell was she supposed to continue to afford Rousseau, huh? August may have bought her the physical horse, but horses cost to feed, board, vet bills, etc. Thoroughbreds are especially expensive. It shows he did not understand or care about HER life. It was all about him and how Sara made HIM feel. Sara had to put her own fucking food back when her friends thoughtlessly left it for Sara to pay for all of their coffees that one morning. Sara had to use her savings account money to pay for her friends' luxuries. A lot of thoughtless behavior from rich people all around on this show, but it was a particularly thoughtless "gift" from August.
The wildest, but most face-saving idea to solve the blackmail for everyone in season 3 (I only want to protect August just to keep Simon from any potential trouble) is if Simon's dad takes responsibility for all of the drugs, booze, and stuff as some kind of atonement for his past unspecified abusive behavior. Yes, Micke being a horrible father/husband who refused help for addiction is enough justification for the level of anger Sara and Simon feel towards him, but I always got the feeling there was a bigger picture there. Their dad is obviously not afraid to be physically violent with them- judging by how he grabbed Simon and slammed him against the wall in S1. I think something major happened in their family before the show. Possibly something bad Micke did that he should have been turned into the police for, but wasn't for some reason. Micke going to jail for one of his kids would in a fucked up way hypothetically be him taking responsibility for what he could've done bad then and finally chosen his childrens' wellbeing over himself. Simon never wanted to do that drug shit in the 1st place. August gave him no choice. Simon never would've done it otherwise. Every time August did something bad, he knew it was illegal and did it anyway because he WANTED to. 100% choice on his end. I know, TLDR, but season 2 gripped me so hard.

This season was a whole roller coaster of emotions. Also I’m pretty sure I have requested it before but you should watch a show called ‘eyewitness’ it’s really good.
My recommendation is KinnPorsche The Series. After you had watched the trailer in a livestream earlier this year, I even got to know about the show. Ever since I'm madly in love with it like with no other show before. It has wraped up in June and is available uncut on IQIYI.

I think Wilhelm got so frustrated/angry that he wasn't thinking straight, when he pointed that rifle at August, I don't think he would actually hurt him, but scare him deffinately. In the moment I understand how it looked to Sara like August was trying to get back in her good books/buy her by buying her the horse, and like he didn't take the situation seriously, even if it was a genuine gesture. Loved the scene when Simon said that he loved him, like Wilhelm did in season 1. Looking forward to see what's going to happen after Sara makes that call, and how her possible redemption will be, and how Simon and Wilhelm will handle the whole situation around them.

its about time that our boys got back together.when simon told wilham he want to be with him and he will waite for him you can tell that wilham was happy that simon said and also when simon said i love you u can see that what wilham realy need that and u can tell wilham love him too. the speech that wilham did was so powerful and true he said to him self iam not going to keep this a secret, because i want to be true for myself and to simon and i will fright for what i belive in and after he done the speech he trun around and look at simon and gave him a smile and simon smaile back to him and then when wilham trune back he look right into the cemara and he going to fright.

My recommendation would be Semantic Error, another south korean series, loved it 💖, and it has only 8 eps also. The comedy is very good, and the chemistry between the mains is lovely, another coming out story but worth it 🙂.

Thank you for your reaction ! you're always so genuine and sincere. I have trust issues too but it got better since I started therapy and learned who I can rely on myself to handle it if someones breaks my trust in them. But I still find it better for myself to be single, after divorce after none years relationship and six years of marriage I don't want to go back to a full time relationship. Oh and may Panda be non binary ? ;)
