I rarely get any hassle on my motorbike, but then I don’t weave in and out of traffic, or fly down the middle past stationary, cut through the middle of traffic especially slow moving traffic where people have fractions of a second to see me.
I assume someone might pull out in front of me, or change lane, or at junctions (and I have been injured twice in 40 years despite my vigilance) because they genuinely might NOT have seen me, and in any event I want to avoid injury or worse.
People using their phone do annoy me, but I’m not a policeman so it’s not my place to tell them off and find it funny when I see videos of pious bikers lecturing others’ when their riding/driving is objectively poor, though they probably think they are good bikers.
Bikers should be more patient, not nip through slow moving traffic, and ride with the assumption they haven’t been seen, and not get angry when a motorist makes a mistake. Be safe, ride happy.

Casual rider using left turn lane to overtake and proceeds to complain.
The lane continues -- you can turn in that lane but are not compelled to (can go straight). He entered legally on the dotted. The car was changing lanes on the solid white line (prohibited as it's in the vicinity of the intersection). Poor riding habit though and not wise or safe.

And the little blue car started indicating when the line was still dotted albeit quite late.
The biker is clearly at fault here, probably knowing the traffic situation here and overtaking according to his own rules, not having the patience to wait for 200 meters (where overtaking would be legal) and all in the end pointless because of the traffic lights..
@@mrpetit2 Even if the bike can't go straight through, the car cannot change lanes across the solid line and in the intersection - regardless of if they started to signal before. They also can't change lanes when it isn't clear (vehicle near or approaching in that lane). Agree the rider shouldn't be riding that way but the car is the one changing lanes illegally into another vehicle. What you say applies to both: the car could wait until the lane change was legal since they had a few hundred meters to the lights as well -- no rush to get over.

He 100% cut in front of all the waiting cars, he used the turn lane to get ahead. If a car did that to a biker, the biker would be up in arms.
@@d-real-moop7824 if I leave a car's length of space in front of me at a red light next to a merge lane (which I wouldn't do because that's not my safest option) then PLEASE, you are WELCOME to merge in front of me in the space that I've left open.
This is actually a GREAT point you are making because so many times cars share our lane because we are too far right or left and they don't realize the whole lane is ours... so we have to learn to 'protect' our lane and not leave enough space for a driver to think it's ok to invade our space that we need for safety.

First clip don’t blame SUV. Emergency vehicle coming and they pulled over. Cyclist doesn’t seem to have heard the sirens or seen the lights. He was inattentive.
I came here to send a similar message. Even without the emergency vehicle, the motorcyclist was too close, always assume cagers can't drive and may turn without blinkers.

What really gets me is how often its the biker at fault and they blame the driver. A great example is the one where he gave a "narration", you clearly see him cutting in front of the car while it is stopped in traffic and then wondering why she was mad? Are you kidding? You think because you waved at her that you are the one in the right?

10:12 it was Casual Riders fault, he saw her blinking when he was still far enough away to brake, yet he sped up.
Edit: rewatched the part several times, conclusion: both were at fault. The driver for trying to merge pretty quickly after putting the blinker on (she probably did look but expected the biker to slow down) and the biker for not even trying to slow down and instead speeding up ( probably well past the speed limit).

@@zReniii Well, as far as I know, when you see someone who wants to merge and has their blinker on, you have to slow down unless your are too close or too fast to do so safely. He wouldn't even have had to stop, just slow down a bit, to let the car merge. From the looks of it he was probably also well past the speed limit.

It's a merge lane. She is stopped. That is absolutely what I am suppose to do. She just didn't like that someone... anyone... was in front of her and decided to rage. I'm not filtering here. There is space for my vehicle and I am legally merging as I am obligated to do so as not to stop in the road and impede other vehicles. Have a good one

@@IanLandesman if a car cant fit in that spot, what gives you the right to take up the 2 feet in front of the driver, responsible drivers leave a gap in case of a stalled car ahead of them to turn their wheels to move, and avoid rear ending the driver ahead, just because you CAN fit, doesnt meant you SHOULD do it anyway, also youre merging from the left turn lane, which means, you dont have the right of way to the lane youre merging into

10:09 Well the biker overtook the car cause he thought the car will go straight as it has to. Intention of the car driver to turn left at this point is very late and wrong, he is in straight lane, didnt use dedicated turning lane he is supposed to turn from. If they hit each other there, they'd be both at fault, biker overtaking-going straight in turning lane, car turning left from a straight lane.
