Hope you all enjoy this rundown of D23! Lots of fun stuff coming to the parks, and there was so much not even talked about so hopefully we get more info on Fantasmic, Play Pavillion, Woodys Roundup Restaurant, Walt Disney World Railroad & everything else!
I’m going to Disneyland in two months so I hope splash Mountain is not closed!
Thanks for the video 📹 😀, by the way I love your work keep it up! By the way if there's any more secrets about Gene Kelly, please let me know, thank you 😊!💕💐🌹
Hey @TPMvids, what’s you opinion on Disney right now? I mean, they are making Disneyland sooo expensive and many families and fans aren’t able to attend 😢
@@emkayart I see your point!
Guarantee nine of them will either never happen or be huge letdowns
the way that the new marvel ride is going to be made with the multiverse is smart because they could add new characters and update it when new movies come out like star tours.
Exactly! The re-ride factor will be huge with it if that’s the way they take it!
So, in Avengers Campus, a new Avengers Quinjet ride had been cancelled to make way for a new unnamed Avengers Multiverse ride at Disney California Adventure?
@Trainking productions You and a few other people are the only ones not excited for Tiana's ride because you just can't get over it. Disney is changing no matter what whether their fans like it or not and they have always been that way. People need to just stop complaining if they don't like something, ignore it and move on. They are changing Tarzan's treehouse yet people aren't super mad about that because they got over it already. Splash Mountain is a great ride we all loved but lets be honest here, that ride has been due for a retheme or a new ride in general there. If you can't keep up then just ignore it or you know..don't go to Disneyland?
Is there a universe where the MCU respects the source material?
@@Viking_Luchador No there def is not after Disney bought the ip. There is only trend followers and hop on fans who have barely even read a marvel comic b4
The Zootopia Land is definitely something I look forward to see. Zootopia was definitely my favorite movie and to walk around the streets of the literal urban jungle is got me excited of what sort of attractions would be awaiting to fans like myself.
Im praying it doesnt happen!!! The beauty of animal kingdom is that it is amazing without the disney overkill. It will be extremly akward to walk from Asia (inspired by a real country), to fake zootropolis, then back to real africa. Cool idea, just NOT in the Midddle of animal kingdom.
@@faithtrout1181
I'm pretty sure this new Zootropolis location is within Shanghai Disney Resort, and not within Animal Kingdom Disneyworld! It won't exactly ruin the vibe to that park as it won't be there.
Nevermind, it's a vague idea for it to also be included with Animal Kingdom. My bad
It looks amazing. Shame only bug people will be able to access it.
It'd be really cool to see some like, hidden attractions
The Princess and the Frog ride at Splash Mountain will make a really good transition between lands. It's both New Orleans and full of animals, so you'll go from New Orleans Square into Critter Country and it'll just feel natural.
I wonder if they are just going screens with it?
I find it insensitive to make a water ride about a location with a long history of flooding.
@@randomusernameCallin damn then u sensitive
@@silvermisststorm Well this whole retheming is about being sensitive.
@@randomusernameCallin most of its actually because splash mountain brakes down a lot and is becoming to expensive to keep up with repairs for the current animatronics. By rebranding they can fix the issues of the ride and bring in a new crowd of people who want to pay more money to ride a "new" ride Why don't you do some research next time
@@randomusernameCallin you're the type of people who ruin the magic because YOU are too sensitive to things. wouldn't it be easier if you just ignored it and didn't go to the park rather than try to keep them from building it and ruining it for the people who are excited about it? keep in mind, one opinion is not going to change Disney's mind. if you are that picky then don't go to an amusement park where they can't satisfy every single person. y'all will find any little thing to complain about..i bet you are one of the people who voted to change pirates too 💀
Interesting about Pacific wharf becoming a mini-San Fransyoko. I think by this point the only part of the land that hasn't changed from the original opening of California adventure is grizzly peak area and maybe condor flat where soarin over California is
You’re right, but even Condor Flats with Soarin’ has all been re-themed as Grizzly Peak, so there’s very little left at the park with the original DCA 1.0 theming!
I’ve been waiting patiently for a villain land and it makes me really excited that they’re actually talking about it. Maybe we’re closer to getting a villain area than we think 🥺❤️
Im with you, but wouldn't the logical location be behind Fantasyland (on the wrong side of the tracks) rather than behind Frontierland?
When will you do face reveal
😊
That would be exciting !!!
Yes I agree I mean it makes sense all the villians and nowhere for them maybe if we’re lucky they’ll finally mix marvel, Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, etc into one land and it’s that they were kicked out of their main home lands and then it’s all the villians but sadly Disney hates mixing marvel and Star Wars with other stuff and has them isolated
Marvel and Star Wars SHOULD be kept separate from true Disney
In my dream, they get their own parks (call it Igerland or Bob Iger World) and the true parks stop getting dominated by acquired IPs
I honestly admire your love and excitement for Disney stuff. Lately it just feels like they had started to lose the magic and such. I’m hoping things get better though, bc I’d like to return soon and ride the Haunted Mansion again
Only thing that will force that to happen is Epic Universe succeeding and forcing Disney's hand to actually innovate rather than just increase prices.
The Weeknd
Alicia Keys
Charlie Puth
Bruno Mars
Villians land sounds awesome to have an area of the park with thrills because magic kingdom is lacking in thrill rides
Well because Disney is a family park. You can’t expect rides that when you get off you can barely walk.
Magic Kingdom doesn’t need anything like that .
I can 100% assure you that the “possible expansions” aren’t happening
So, a new unnamed Disney Villains attraction as "Dark Kingdom" are coming to the expansion of Magic Kingdom?
Now, I remember!!! The original plans for Villains lair has been vanished at Magic Kingdom for a long time ago!!!
I agree with you I would like a bald mountain roller coaster
I might have mentioned this before but during my brief training time as a potential Cast Member at Disneyland, I walked alongside the perimeter where Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railroad is being build
The Exoskeleton looks cool and I hope they continue to improve on it and use it.
Also the possible expansions look cool.
I can 100% assure you that the “possible expansions” aren’t happening.
The Incredible Hulk: an iconic character famous for wearing only tattered shorts to show off his over sized green muscles
"Lets pit him in a bodysuit that hides everything aside from his hands!"
They can make GROOTTTTT YEAHHHHHh!!!!
Absolute love that Disneyland Paris finally gets its own section in a Disney video. Disneyland Paris needs way more love and attention on all Disney themed channels. Good job TPMVids!
Most popular park in Europe (sorry Europa-Park)
I can say that I'm pretty happy about the announcements. Although a section of the park being home to the villains of Disney behind Thunder Mountain would be pretty awesome. Would be a nice call-back to the "planned but never built" Dark Kingdom section of Animal Kingdom. A smaller yet reincarnated Dark Kingdom, if you will.
I can 100% assure you that the “possible expansions” aren’t happening
Well there really was a strong Possibility of that ride opening.
@mainframe1608 And how would you know exactly? Do you work at Disney?
I love Moana, but it feels kinda weird to have two sections dedicated to the movie in Disney World. I know they aren’t in the same park, but I would prefer to see more franchises/movies to get stuff.
Don't even understand how a pavilion dedicated to water ties into Moana specifically. Might have made more sense if they added a Polynesian pavilion to World Showcase, and included something Moana themed there.
Same goes for Animal Kingdom. I guess is Pocahontas is a face character there, Moana could be too. But how does it justify its own land (and replacing one of the originals??) Zootopia I can understand, its a world of anthropomorphic animals.
@@Viking_LuchadorI- Moana takes place almost entirely on water? And Moana can literally "control" water, how does it not tie into Moana. Although I agree that I don't think they need a land in Animal Kingdom too
But it seems like it undercuts the supposed ecological message of the "Journey of Water" pavilion, and instead is just an IP showcase
Honestly they should just go back to to the original concept where there was a fantasy type land with dragons and unicorns but now every land and ride has to be based off a movie
When I heard of these “Blue sky ideas,” they made me think of Ice Age because Blue Sky Studios made the movies, which is now owned by Disney, and one of my ideas is an Ice Age-themed expansion for Animal Kingdom.
If Zootopia gets cancelled, I imagine they would reimagine Dinosaur into Black Panther.
They already have Africa represented
Blue Sky:
I can't imagine Coco or Encanto justifying an entire expansion. Maybe a mini land . But a Villainous land? That's a world changing idea!
Preach
I don't want to see Gran Fiesta Tour replaced, but maybe expand the Mexico pavilion and you've got the perfect locale for a Coco themed attraction. It worked for expanding France to accommodate Remy's (and it will work if Cheapskate authorizes expanding the UK for a Mary Poppins attraction).
As for Encanto, you'd have to build a Colombia pavilion. Or, as another user suggested, create a dinner theatre stage show based on it, preferably at one of the resorts (I suggested Coronado Springs)
It would be nice if they expanded the Mexico pavilion and themed it to a village fair- that could be where a potential Coco themed attraction could go
At the very least, go all out for Dia de Los Muertos
I'm hoping that maybe sometime in the future in one of Disney's water parks like maybe Disney TokyoSea it would have some kind of Luca attraction seeing how its main character is from under the sea
I've been to Tokyo Disneysea, Luca would fit in well there.
@@npf6705 in the meantime I heard that in the Italy pavilion at Epcot they drew a little fresco of Luke and Alberto around one of the drinking fountains to make it look like Alberto is splashing the water onto Luca.
Luca needs to be put to bed permanently! It was based on an adult male courting a minor boy.
@@MichaelRei99I'm talking about the Pixar film from 2021, which was based on the director's childhood summer experiences growing up in Italy with a good friend named Alberto.
@@Bunny-ks1md that's what I said two comments ago
So incredibly happy Disney was smart enough to reinstate Happily Ever After! There’s no other show that could touch people’s hearts with such emotion that Happily Ever After could. I was always confused as to why they would get rid of such a wonderful and well loved show in the first place and it didn’t even last that long! I had hoped it would be like Illuminations: so loved that the show would be unchanged for years to come. Hopefully this show will remain in Magic Kingdom to stay for the next few years.
When your #1 'upcoming' ride is something that will never happen, you know Disney has lost its way
“Could happen” ≠ “never happen”
The “Blue Sky” concept isn’t exactly new when it comes to Disney. Sometimes it happens; sometimes it doesn’t; sometimes what comes doesn’t exactly match what is expected or presented at the time of announcement.
Even so, when something is announced in the “Blue Sky” phase, they have to get ideas as to how it _could_ work; where it _would_ take place/replace; long term and short term goals; etc.
Hell Haunted Mansion was delayed for YEARS before they finally completed it (aside from Walt’s death and lack of definitive direction until compromises were met )
Western River Expedition (WRE) was planned to be where Frontierland would’ve been, save for two things: how expensive the project would’ve been; the absence of MK’s Pirates of the Caribbean attraction (due perceived negative reaction to pirate history, which were VASTLY dismissed as Guest Services would attest to at that time); and Tony Baxter’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (which was based on the WRE’s mine train).
@@tweso1499 I can 100% assure you that the “possible expansions” aren’t happening. They were probably created just for the expo so it wouldn’t be seen as a failure.
I’m fine with the Moana part of animal kingdom replacing Dino land but they CANNOT TAKE DINOSAUR AWAY FROM ME
When TPMVids mentioned “Everyone’s favorite purple dragon,” my mind instantly went to Spyro.
I feel like their "blue sky" is just a way to say "here's what we're thinking" then if it doesn't happen then we won't be as mad as the prior D23 where they were like, "here's what we're doing!" then most of the things get canned and we all get really angry lol. I feel that it's a defensive barrier so they can budget cut projects or even cancel ideas with the excuse of "hey they were just ideas, we never said they were actually happening." It's just a load of "BS". I would be fine with Zootopia taking over the entirety of Dinoland. I'd be sad to lose Dinosaur specifically but the rest of that land is in serious need of help. Moana already has her spot at EPCOT, but then again, Frozen has their ride in EPCOT and the stage show in Hollywood Studios, so... I just think they need to branch out and stop putting the same characters all over the place. While I know Raya didn't do well financially, the aesthetics of the film look gorgeous and could bring in some of that "fantasy" that DAK was supposed to have that Pandora is currently covering for... but then if Dinoland is totally removed, then now we have dino references that make no sense... poor DAK... It's another forever confused as to what it is beyond it being "NotAZhu"
This, but it was also a good way for them to gauge excitement on a project before officially committing to an idea. I really do feel like Moana is 100% gonna happen at Animal Kingdom, even just basing off of Josh’s “but I really like this one” comment
How does Moana fit into animal kingdom?
@@TPMvids I can 100% assure you that the “possible expansions” aren’t happening. They were probably made just for the expo so it wasn’t seen as a failure. Which the majority of people see it as anyways.
Encanto should be a dining experience where your in the middle of the casita and the characters sing and dance around you and above you on the 2nd floor balcony
I'm still excited for these new attractions. It is going to be different the next time we come to Disney World. Haven't been since 2018.
There is so much at the parks from 2018 onwards that’s new so you’re gonna have such a great time experiencing all these new lands and rides!!
@@TPMvids I remember in 2018 there was a banner saying Tron coming soon. And now, it's coming next spring!
Personally, though I’m in love with the dinosaur attraction at disney and I hope it never leaves. But I do absolutely love the moana/zootopia retheme but on the other hand I hope we could get original rides that aren’t really based off of previous ip from the movies or if they do, maybe they could use something like the good dinosaur instead :)
Preach ocean vibes. Get creative and make new things.
I love the good dinosaur, its a great idea for a concept
Good Dinosaur was a bigger bomb than Dinosaur
Your theories on the possible Figment encounters made me feel much better about the idea of bringing him back. I hope this is the way Imagineering is headed as I was not a fan of the big walkaround version. Very happy about the Hatbox Ghost and am looking forward to his appearance at MK.
AMAZING VIDEO TPM VIDS!
I really want to villain land. I love Ursula and would love her to be in the parks more.
It’s so exciting that happy ever after will be back, but at the same time, we should also thank Hong Kong Disneyland for creating the song (for its 10th anniversary), because without them, Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom would have possibly never existed, and it was such a big hit!
I don't know about you, but I think Disney Dan will be VERY Excited about Figment the Purple Dragon FINALLY getting the love and care he deserves in the parks. I'm definitely glad.
I think they will use the harmonious at the big hero 6 land for the portal in the movie
this was fun to watch. love everything.
I love the idea of Moana in Animal Kingdom, but also having an attraction at EPCOT makes it not feel as special and rather redundant. Also as a huge fan of Dinosaur, I don't think they should get rid of the ride, ESPECIALLY since it was one of the three main sections original Animal Kingdom decided to open with. It seems the parks are reflecting a lot more movies which are really cool, but also the parks are losing their original ride ideas.
It is going to be sad that Splash Mountain is going away but I'm actually Curious to see how Tiana's Bayou Adventure will turn out.
I'm really Excited about Inside Out 2 with the new emotions though!
Remake the one in Anaheim. Its already between Critter Country and New Orleans Square. The theming doesn't work in Magic Kingdom.
About time Hatty made his way to the WDW Mansion!
thanks for this, I had a really bad day/last hour, and you posting this made my day, thank you for making Disney fans happy all over the world.
As much how look these concepts look, We just hope they don't get cancelled
With tianas bayou adventure, the mini model is based off of *DISNEY LAND* , and the concept art was for *DISNEY WORLD* , so hopefully the concept is staying for disney world atleast.
I’m so sad splash mountain is closing it is one of my all time favorite rides and was my favorite ride as a kid. I will miss it so much.😢
I love your videos keep up the great content 😊🎉
I'm most excited for Tron but I am definitely gonna miss Splash Mountain
Yes, what a complete bummer that Disney falls to social pressures and will do away with a classic ride. If P and F deserves a ride if it’s own, put it in DCA. If anything, reskin the Rain Forest Cafe into Tianas restaurant and that should satisfy everyone who’s a fan of the movie. Leave classic Disneyland alone!
@@davidhalcon5594 I disagree with this being a matter of societal pressure. I can admit that those pressure were probably part of the reasoning, but this is still a smart business move. P and F is a classic and well-loved movie, and Tiana is a fan favourite for many with practically zero presence in the parks. Splash Mountain is absolutely a classic, but I can’t think of a single person who remembers the source material, and it’s a waste to let such a landmark/staple attraction suffer with no major theming/character focus. Naturally it’s already a very popular ride, but it could be pulling triple the riders if it had the same appeal to younger crowds of getting to see a favourite character/princess inside the ride.
@@davidhalcon5594 lol do you even know what splahed mountain is based off of?
I’m really hoping for a villains land as I think it would be something so new and fresh and someone that could constantly be reinvented and updated so easily. Whereas with an ip land eventually it will look dated (look at the bugs life play area that used to exist). Whereas villains there can be the old ones and new ones constantly walking around. The rides could be kind of like the marvel ride showing the villains intermingle. Or could follow a kingdom hearts storyline. Or they villains could be trying to recruit new villains to villainy to get back at the heroes that knocked them down. I would LIVE FOR IT
That being said coco land would be so lush as the holiday dia de los muertos is so beautiful
Seeing their Princess and the Frog ride makes me wish Disney did a live action version
You know so much about Disney and so much and its awesome!!
I’m late but, Toon town is coming Jan 27 2023. 😅 I’m getting excited right now
Super torn over splash mountain vs Tiana's bayou adventure. Also I love DINOSAUR so I would hate to see it go. Moana/Zootopia concept looks cool tho. Love the idea of a villain themes area beyond big thunder. As always keep doing what you're doing dude love the content
I will throw a fit if dinosaur leaves!!!!!!!!!!

i love that on fake disney news on tiktok was talking about a villain land and now disney might actually do it so excited
Some very impressive changes. I'm disappointed that they've removed the tree from the top of TBA. That element in the current version really adds to the silhouette. Looking forward to seeing more info as the refurb evolves. I do find it strange to devote whole lands to a single film. Zootopia land sounds fun but is it really something that will last over time?
agree!! The renewed version of the Princess and the frog ride looks so lacluster. And zootopia land in the middle of animal kingdom is a bad idea. Not really that memerable of a movie, and it would ruin the flow in the middle of Animal Kingdom.
Agree about zootopia, I don’t think it was a big enough movie to have it’s own land. I would actually like to see Disney bring in an OG classic like Tarzan or Pocahontas. I don’t even see how zootopia fits in animal kingdom. Yea it has animals in it but I just don’t think it goes with the current animal kingdom vibe.
When I went to Disneyworld I thought Dinoland didn’t feel like it was Disney. Besides dinosaur the area didn’t bring anything new to the table, but my little brother enjoyed it. I’d absolutely love to see Moana and Zootopia take over. I love Zootopia snd the concept art looks AWESOME!
I can 100% assure you that the “possible expansions” aren’t happening.

Nothing wrong with hoping
@@nanomacaron232 during the pandemic disney threw most of their budget to disney plus and now they only brought some of that back to the parks. Also disney wouldn’t make anymore expansions now because to them thats unprofitable and now they only are replacing attractions instead of making new ones.

Werewolf by Night and Man-Thing Daredevil and so much more coming to the new Avengers Campus ride!!! 🔥
I hope the Zootopia, Moana, Encanto, Villains, and Coco lands happens and done when we go, I hope. I love the idea of Moana and Zootopia in animal kingdom because basically it’s about nature and animals. Wish Encanto even Coco was in Epcot but o well
I also like the idea of Moana and Big Time Rush in Animal Kingdom. You’re right, Encanto and Coco should definitely be in Epcot.

I’m looking forward to see the revamped version of Mickey’s Toon Town at Disneyland park in California next October with the opening of the Disneyland version of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
I was a bit hesitant about Tiana's Bayou Adventure, but hearing all of this is starting to make me feel really excited about this new attraction. I wonder if original songs from the Princess and the Frog will be incorporated in the attraction!
i doubt it because this is a new story
Some of these updates are amazing!
Ooo, all that looks nice! 😍
The Blue Sky ideas were really cool. The Moana land and a Villains land would be so amazing! I love Moana so much, and I think it would really revitalize Animal kingdom and spread more people out from Avatar land.

Honestly what I’m looking forward to the most… is Epic Universe opening. D23 was filled with a lot of nothing burgers and what ifs. Universal is actually building the things while Disney is still in the developmental stage of anything significant.
Not to mention they canceled that awesome quinjet ride for the multiverse ride. Which already looks way less ambitious and will most likely be a cheap screen ride
i can’t wait for the next awesome video!

Cancel The Tiana ride. We want splash mountain
6:43 OH MY GOD THAT IS SO CUTE I CAN'T- 😭💖
Omg this sounds great
At first, I was a little underwhelmed at the Disneyland Paris Tangled ride news revealing it's probably a teacup ride, since Tangled's among my favourite Disney films...but on second thought, not every ride has to have a long track and be technologically complicated to be good. And it suits the needs of really young guests. 8 yr-old me, who was scared of any theme park ride where I couldn't really see the track layout, would've really appreciated it, from the get-go.
And really, the 'I See the Light' sequence is probably a perfect theme for that of kind of stationary-stage spinning ride. With the physics and mechanics of a teacup style ride already well-researched and understood, there's a a lot of opportunity to use most of the budget in creating the best immersive atmosphere it could possibly have. It's actually a pretty smart choice....
And if the Tangled teacups/boats are successful, there's even an opportunity to do a re-skin, in another park, with the Kiss the Girl scene from TLM, since it's a similar vibe.
Also, I could totally see an Encanto interactive walkthrough experience of the Madrigal's casita! Maybe in the style of the Snow White themed Once Upon an Adventure attraction at Shanghai Disneyland?
They ALL look and sound so COOL!!!!! I can't decide which idea I like the most!!
Love ya, man!
My god I haven’t watched this channel in so long
so exciting can't wait 😍
Fun fact: Right now in NYC, there’s an attraction called Encanto x CAMP Explore the Magic Doors, which lets you explore the inside of the Madrigal Casita. I’ve never been there before but it looks really cool and I wouldn’t mind something similar happening in one of the Disney Parks.
