    I went to Hashem's every day for a month or so. Dana is also a beautiful spot especially if you like hiking and Kerak if you are into history. Watching the sun work it's way down the walls of the canyon to light up the façade of the treasury from the overlook where you are sitting on the carpet at 0:12 is almost like a religious experience. If you get to the Petra entrance right when it opens then take the "tunnel" instead of the siq and follow that wadi (Muthlim) at the end turn left and find the stairs going up that will lead to the overlook. If you have 2 days at least for Petra then Wadi Muthlim is good for the second day but it does require some bouldering.

    • @KristiTravelEscape
      @KristiTravelEscape  Před rokem +1

      Hi, I am happy to read that, I hope the itinarary serves you well 🙏🏼😊 Yes, I would definitely rent a car as soon as possible, because the prices are only going up with time. Hotels and stayes can be booked a bit later, but if you know your itinerary, I wouldn’t wait too long either. I recommend not to spend money on fancy accomodation in Amman or Wadi Musa, bc you will basically just spent a night there. I recommend to spend money on accomodation in the Dead Sea and Wadi Rum. I loved our stay in Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp (can be found on booking). We stayed one night in the dome tent and one night in the regular tent (bc it was cheaper). Both tents were amazing and honestly this camp was the highlight of our trip 😊 In the evening, they will prepare Zarb for you as a tradiational Bedouin dish baked under the ground. You can watch the preparation, very cool 😊 And also, I would bring something warm to wear, nights are really cold in the desert and Amman might also be a bit cloudy in December. If you have any other questions, please let me know! You will love Jordan 😊 I hope you will have the best time! 😊

      @KristiTravelEscape  Před 2 lety

      Hi Sara, thank you so much! 😊❤️ We stayed in the Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea and in Petra, we stayed in one awful hostel not worth mentioning 😉. I can recommend the Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp in Wadi Rum Desert. That was my favourite experience! They have the Martian tents but also the cheaper tents are amazing! 😊 Parking in Jordan is mostly for free (Petra included, there is a huge free parking right next to the entrance), no worries. We only had trouble once in the center of Amman, but we found free parking eventually. Personaly, I like to travel without a travel company. If you are alone, I would go with the company. But if you have someone to travel with, renting a car is a great way to get around ☺️. Jordan is safe, we just avoided driving at night. But all the people in Jordan are super kind 😊. Great video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
