I also was a bit anxious before my first Ocrevus infusion, but it turned out not to be a big deal. You'll do just fine. By the way, you walk really well. I have to use a cane, and I could not have walked as far as you did in the video.

I am giving it another ocrevus try today! MRIs is late august and we’ll see! MS sucks but we keep on fighting and doing all we can! It’s a journey for sure but so glad we have others to help us all through together

Wishing you all the best Liam, from what I have heard/ read about ocrevus it is a very popular and effective treatment. I think they also have a lot of experience in managing / monitoring those on ocrevus. :) I am on tecfidera now (as you were I believe?) but have only been diagnosed 2 years ago. Hoping to stay on it for a bit longer but will also make the switch to ocrevus if things start to get worse. I have heard for many the "most active" period is when we are young between 25-55 when our immune systems are most active / aggressive. I think it is very reasonable to want to fight it and control it during this period as the medication has shown to work very well. Hopefully getting it under control will give you more peace of mind that you are doing everything you can :)

Hi Liam! Thanks for getting back to me. I was diagnosed in 2018 and it took me 4 years to finally give into the DMT ocrevus. I am doing okay in the med but it hasn’t slowed my progression so more MRIs in august and we will hopefully see it is stopping progression! I think you are making a difficult but important decision! Thanks for sharing your story and your battles…:lots of us appreciate it!!

It hasn't slowed your progress either? I'm glad and sad to know I'm not the only one struggling with these meds, I personally am going to try to swap to Kesimpta both for connivence (my town doesn't have a good hospital they send me to another around an hour away) as well as my cousin has spoken highly of it for helping with her RRMS.

Curious to hear more about your experience with Ocrevus. My neurologist is considering switching me to it (I've been on Fingolimod for over 10 years). Wish you the best man.

I started on Ocrevus a few months ago, it seems relatively effective for myself but for most it seems to work quite well! The proccess of the medication for myself was rather easy, the bendaryl they gave me made me pass out so I slept through the whole 4 hour dose. 😂 I hope it goes well and works for you!

It’s hard to start a new med. I’m on O too. It has been really good. 2 years in. Def more infections and illness. I am a teacher and since going back once had countless colds, flu and my first bout of Covid. I suggest masking as much as possible and other basic hand washing etc. I have a little in daycare too. Oooof. You’ll be ok and hydrate a ton before, during and after. The steroids were my least favourite part. But they flush out too.

Keep on keeping on Brotha lol I like O lol outside of the infection risk as I deff get more colds and it hard to know when I have one I've learned lol becuse my last infusion I got sick right after and for a week couldent get warm so cuddled a heating pad lol but other then that my mobility got better my fatigue got better and my complications of my uveitis has actuly gone down two ... so it's an amazing drug I'm gonna be sad if my neor thinks I'm getting sick to much becuse I love it and hiw much it has helped me .... I also like not having to worry about medication times as for 6 month I dint have to worry about it and outside of ms symptoms I don't have to be mindful of medication prep or things like thag ... I hope it gose well drink lots of water before your infusion and don't worry if you get itchy troat they will give benadryl and I end up sleeping for most of the infusion.... also bring a phone to watch shows that will keep you occupied lol stay strong
