I love the idea of an impressive, large manor that feels homey and lived in within. I bet her boys feel a real sense of home when they step inside.
Rarely have I felt so drawn to an interior designer, but Katharine Pooley just comes across as such a lovely easy & genuine person, that I totally enjoyed hearing her talk about her life, her husband, her kids, dad, dogs, & her travels & friends. What a lovely video! Her home is definitely quite beautiful & special to her!
I could listen to Ms. Pooley talk decor all day! Despite the clear level of elegance and quality (and cost) of every piece, you can tell she delights in the personal nature of every item and customised space.
I don't know what I liked more, the charming home or the charming lady of the house...

She's probably the classiest and nicest lady I've ever seen, and her home is so cozy and inviting!! You can say she's a beautiful person by the way she loves animals and gardening. I'd love to see more of her garden, simply gorgeous!
I love how layered and eccentric English interiors are, full of found objects and antiques gives so much energy and interest.
What a beautiful home. I feel katharine decorated the home with love and nature for her family. I love the chinoiserie vases, the way she decorated the wall with beautiful pictures that have a story to tell. The home also feels cozy from the type of sofas and accessories she has used. Must be delightful living in it.... xxx
How refreshing to hear a home owner describe individually collected art. So, so often a home’s art collection is either a secondary filler by the home’s decorator or a slap-dash last minute “color” enhancer to comply with the room as a whole. Kat Pooley is evidently attached to not only furry friends but her meaningful life collections. Very entertaining!
Such a classy home,the decor is so right in each space with tasteful stories about pieces obtained and decorated by a soothing narrator who was totally at home.

Beautiful! I love the attention to detail - pillow combinations and trims etc. Also, the balance of incorporating family life requirements (the sponge drawer!) whilst displaying exquisite decoration and art, is simply stunning!
I got so much pleasure from watching this video and listening to your beautiful voice. You should really narrate audiobooks! Your home is stunning, and I loved so much that you shared all the very personal touches. It’s easy to see this is a very well loved family home, and that includes your precious dogs. I felt some tears when you shared the story of your Jack Russell that had passed. I lost my beloved wire haired fox terrier, Brian, February 28, 2021, and I still miss him dreadfully. Sorry to butt in. I feed my 10 Yr old rescued toy poodle n golden retriever steamed sweet potato, pumpkin, carrot, broccoli, a tbsp coconut oil, 1 tsp ground pepper among others

@JB They aren't vegan. I do include rice, brown or white, Offal, meat, tripe, bones. My daughter bakes dog treats with Peanut butter.
