Given Lorgar’s role as The Heirophant (see Tarot symbolism) of Chaos Undivided, I would also like to see him more active. I would prefer that he act as a counselor to Abaddon. Helping Abaddon figure out what he really wants to do and be, instead of just following his father’s vision of tearing down the Imperium. Lorgar, as a character, should help other characters be better characters. Unfortunately, I don’t think anyone at GW has enough understanding and respect for the role of religious figures to know how to use Lorgar and the Wordbearers effectively.

Your even more godlike father doesn't offer to help you cure them, just dumps them in your lap and says "Best of luck, champ! I have total faith in you!" And even though you, more than any of your brothers, ought to be explicitly told "oh by the by, there are gods of Chaos in the warp who double-deal and ruin people's lives" he doesn't explicitly tell you that. Despite you being painfully naive, idealistic and way out of your depth. And he'd know that because he supposedly travelled the warp with you and knew you for years before even meeting you in person. The Emperor did everything wrong as a father and expected his son not to similarly screw up.

So do his Sorcerers, who teach battle to the zealous Warriors of the Architect of Fate.
With war they bring eternal change for Tzeentch!
Tzeentch must look like Norsca, and there are several Champions who prove it: Tchar'zanek, Aekold Helbrass, Albodi, Melekh the Changer.
"My name? Long ago such worthless details fell from memory. I know only the lust for glorious battle -- for blood, for victory! I seek only the Eye of Tzeentch -- his favour, his grace, his Dark Gifts -- that through them, I may be remade -- reborn! Why do we raid your lands? Why do we burn your homes? Why do we flay your flesh? To serve the Lord of Change and his magnificent designs."
Do you know what the Screamers of Tzeentch must look like?
Long tail but raven wings and beak, without claws however because being creatures of change they must always fly and never stop.
And since purple, pink, and gold (Slaanesh) are aspects that simply don't go well with Tzeentch, then blue, azure, and silver are his only true aspects.
    💙🔵
I like to imagine (even before the Heresy) Magnus and the Thousand Sons with the symbol of the Egyptian Raven (let's eliminate the symbol of the Egyptian Scarab, it is an insult to Tzeentch).

In the burning of Prospero, remember when Magnus projects himself to earth from prospero?
His projected self has the potential to rip through the space wolves ships in low orbit above Prospero, destroying the ships about to burn his world. Yet he doesn't want to seem like the villain, so he flies like an enchanted dolphin through space at lights peed, towards the golden throne, pissing off his dad for doing that trick.
Yes, Magnus is possibly the strongest in the Physical and definitley in the Psychic

What I don't get is why magnus didn't just go turn himself in to Russ alone. He knew he was there for blood either way. At least that way the planet might have been saved.
He might even have been able to explain Horus' treachery.

Magnus is easily the most Nerfed Primarch. He is second only to the emperor with his psyker ability. Meaning stronger than malcador which means he could have "unmade" Horus or any other Primarch for that matter.

Magnus is the Primarchs that the Emperor need the most or needed. His role was so important and if there is plans from the Emperor to leave the golden throne one day then he need Magnus. And if anyone can save Magnus is the Emperor and the Khan. Magnus is probadly also the only one whoese powers could be devrstating for the Tyranids.

Magnus had loyal intentions, but he STILL f'd up. It's just the truth. There's no way to "splain" out of it. 😅
Trying to blame the Emperor for his f-up is just bs. It's what little kids do when a parent tells them no about something and there's serious consequences for disobeying and doing what was forbidden anyway.

If you think about your comment on multiple Primarch bring able to fill multi roles if need, i.e. redundancy. It does beg the question, what was the redundancy for Magnus? Are we certain another Primarch didnt have the capacity, if not the cultivation of, deep psychic powers? Are we absolutely certain?

Magnus was always destined to fall. He simply lasted longer than the previous two. The emperor always has redundancy. I have the feeling that the 2nd and/or the 11th Primarchs had the psychic potential to sit on the golden throne.
