As you know I have the CR Single, (and a few Black 5’s). I broke tge soldered joint of the wire to the motor, so need to fix that first.
The magdahesion is a real pain on Peco points and I intend trying to replace the magnet with steel, just as 00Bill has done.
I should try pulling the same number and type of coaches as a comparison and might post it.
On one of my Black 5’s the frame is broken around the hole for the wire/towbar. Would like to find a new frame.
Always interesting to see what you are up to.
    Cheers

    Excellent.
I was only thinking earlier today to try my Tri-ang Singles on the Super 4 layout.
The Series 3 layout is uneven and has a rise from one end to the other.
    Worth looking at.
More current is good for these old girls. 👍
    Happy Modelling .

I just posted the Single ( with magnet removed) pulling three coaches.
Difficult to get scale speed but that might be accomplished by adding a front bogie pick-up

I really do like your controllers layout. It puts mine to shame. Kind regards, Philip

@@model.train.railway. Thanks Philip, it's took me nearly 4 hrs to get this far with many mistakes on the way .before I started I knew little about electrical circuitry .Point motors the only thing I'd ever wired up on a layout before . All the best bob .
