Steppe immigrants having children by local Neolithic women is not evidence of peaceful coexistence. That reads as wishful thinking. If there were significant numbers of people of mixed steppe and neolithic ancestry whose male ancestry was from the local neolithic population (especially if it remained constant over multiple generations), THAT might suggest peaceful coexistence.
That's my take as well. I don't see anything in this find that disproves the idea of the steppe guys killing all the local guys and marrying the women (who weren't consulted as to whether they liked the idea).

It is too early to ascertain but some already suggested the structure on top of the hill overlooking the Castelli airport may have been an astronomical observatory or perhaps a temple dedicated to Zeus. Either suggestion seems plausible. It would not be unlikely if this were an observatory since similar structures has been uncovered in the Mediterranean. And it would not be impossible if it were at one time a temple of Zeus, considering this is the mountain range that in the genealogy of Gods of the Greek Mythology, where the infant Zeus was raised and protected.

That site in France is likely about 2,000 years after the Steppe people rode into Northeastern Europe. The radar facility is being built in another location since the discovery of this structure. In most of Europe and the UK, when a modern road, building etc are green-lit, they first send in the archaeologists to see if there is any buried history on the site. Usually they get to excavate, remove artifacts and document the site then the modern building can take place. Sometimes, like here, the site is too important to use for modern purposes so the archaeology is saved in situ.
