- Wattson has been buffed in Apex Legends Season 21. Her passive ability adjustments have occurred, here is the quick math.

OLD PASSIVE
1 shield per 2 seconds
Bar of health = 50 seconds
2 Bars of health = 100 seconds
NEW PASSIVE
2 shield per 2 seconds
Bar of health = 25 seconds
2 Bars of health = 50 seconds
To full = 125 Seconds

That won't work. I think at some point, we need to accept that players cheating is the cost of doing business in the competitive online video game space. As long as people play video games online, some will want to gain an advantage in an unethical way. For example, Chicken Drumstick made over $70 million from selling cheats in PUBG, and the actual market value of this entire industry might be over hundreds of millions if not more. There are entire organizations dedicated to creating, updating, and selling cheats for the most popular competitive games.
Let's take Overwatch 2, for example. They recently banned Ximmers, and less than a month later, an alternative was created and released on the market. I think cheating is inevitable. Apex, Blizzard, and Ubisoft can do everything they can to push back, but as long as there is a teenager willing to pay $50 for software or controller add-ons that give them aimbot, there will be an army of people racing to override any new anti-cheat measures they put in place to make a profit.
I think cheating is going to get alot worse before it get better, its that or it becomes normalized (which it kind of already is).
As someone who mains Ash and Wattson, these shadows buffs are awesome to see.

I mean, Reject won the ALGS with Wattson on their team and I saw them constantly dropping broken shields for Wattson to heal. With the faster regen that part of her utility only got better and I'd be surprised if teams didn't at least consider her for their comps.
Wattsons ult alone if used properly is huge for ALGS. Too many "pros" scared to use a new character tho. Fencing people in a 1v1 is the most op thing ever, if you're skilled enough

It takes 25 seconds for teammates to heal a red evo with the pylon, 23 seconds with old wattson regen, and 21 seconds with the new wattson regen. If you run the super pylon perk and heal only by gen, your passive will save up to 4 cells when you burn through the full 480 shields. This means you effectively have 580 shields per super pylon. Also, as far as I've tested, Wattson's passive regen resets its cooldown on entering her pylon radius, which didn't happen before.
I was meant to post this earlier but I fell asleep 😅. I was in a game with an octane and I noticed that my shield regen was keeping pace with his swift mend, that's when I went to the range and tested it. I'm just glad everyone knows now!
idk if you guys noticed but ash was buffed too :D when placing her ult it now goes further, 77m instead of previously 63. you can also see a blue circle or an indicator around you now (similar when placing loba’s market) to make it easier to figure out the range of your ult.

ash is definitely a very fun legend to play, especially with the perks. for the level 2 perk i always pick the passive tracking enemies for 60 seconds and the level 3 depends on what you wanna do but i usually take 2 snares and make sure to carry grenades so i can spam the enemies i just snared. for her ult you need to know that while it doesn't have much range horizontally it goes wayyy further vertically and diagonally and can be a useful repositioning tool, especially if you wanna take height.
when it comes to crypto i've actually played him a fair amount when i just started out and was into recon characters. so i disagree with the other guy that he's too complicated...he's not. important things to know with crypto is that not only is his drone scanning enemies but you can also use it to scan survey beacons, pick up teammates' banners and even respawn teammates at the respawn beacon, all while literally hiding in a corner somewhere lmao. drone is gonna be your friend. downside with crypto is that (unless you're playing with a premade squad) teammates can be impatient and often not wait for you to get into the drone, scan the area and get out. so just be mindful of that and try not to get left behind cause it leaves the team at a disadvantage.

Ash got a shadow buff to her portal too, now it goes to 77m instead of 63m
I'm still annoyed that Hal/Falcons ran Wattson for game 6 last week during ALGS.
Hal on TSM would NEVER have done that!
Raven was begging them to use Wattson.
I was playing a game of quads as Wattson and did not realize that she got buffed, I really like her buff and this can make her save some shields, at first I did not like how she was gaining 1 shield point every 2 seconds, but this buff will make her a lot more better and I am celebrating for my main Wattson ⚡️⚡️
I literally said to my wife this morning I wish they would rework her blue perks boost her tactical or double the speed of her passive lmao.

Needed to fact-check this today because the recent patch from Sunday changed the Ash ult to no longer have that overlay of the limits of the length of the portal that was similar to the change they did with Path. The shadow buff for Wattson still applies (25 seconds per bar on shield regen)! The Ash shadow buff to the ult in terms of length also actually still applies (based on pinging it seems to be around 75-77m whereas apparently it was 63-65m), just that it isn't showing overlay

I was resurrected with attachments in guns golds included. 😮 Not always but two of three times.
Might be the new feature in quads. Noticed i could carry 90 ammo in an inventory slot
got revived with every attachment on ranked
Could be wrong... but I feel their are twice as many accellerants too. In past found them hard to find. Now they are common.

I think Octane was slightly nerfed in his healing. I feel like it takes longer than it used to to heal the damage from his stim. Like it takes twice as long to tick. Used to be every second, now every two seconds. Something like that anyways.

In most combats it won’t make a difference since u don’t get 2 full minutes to regain shields without fighting/being shot. Compared to octanes health gain wattson is weak

Buff caustic ! With how fast you can destroy / fold up the traps he is nearly a non factor without his ult. Except in super specific situations people just do not care about his traps anymore
They won't do that, they nerfed it for a reason
i feel like passive hp regen should be a thing for every legend. 10-20 s out of combat and you regen 1hp / sec. cause nobody wants to use one slow ahhh syringe just to get that last 2 hp and waste 5 seconds of your life
I dont think she needs this at all. Its cool but she really does not need the shield regen.
I just use ASH all day hoping someday she will be meta.
Better to have a non meta main, less people to pick the character before you. Also less likely to get nerfed over time.

Caustic is now by far the worst controller legend. Completely situational and with no versatility.
Caustic remains the best aggressive controller while having a ton of value in any choke, he dosent hold space like wattson or allow for damage farming like rampart but he can hold a building as well as any other legend with the benefit of having a fight tool that the others really lack.
@@oshecdalavods2238 which supports the fact that he is completely situational with no versatility. His ult is the only saving grace.
@@ryanchan1389the fight tool says otherwise. It can save him in open areas which is an ability that 2 other controllers lack (tactical) and is better than a rampart wall because of visual clutter.
I haven't played in 3 weeks. My 2nd game on yesterday, wiped by a 4 stack cheater team. I'll try again next season.... diablo 4 is way better now. Time to switch everyone. Let apex die or be fixed. Stop playing
