Deepti was the pattern maker of Carol Christian Poell and her influence to him didn't stop there. Not a coincidence that Carol didn't make any new collections after her departure (for almost 8 years) until the IN-BETWEEN collection .To those who accuse Deepti about copying CCP designs ,they should look how many different collections she produced the last 6 years ,while Poell was selling to Asians the same stuff for almost a decade (in all colors of rainbow).

Very interesting shoulder construction. Has a half-raglan cut but still manages to do beautiful shoulder padding. Incredible piece.
Like you said, some of her stuff is a bit too much for me, but I still admire everything she has done, like the crash seam jeans for example.

Yeah the jeans are beautiful as well. I think some pieces should be considered art rather than clothes.. I really like the air lock membrane stuff as well
