I can't actually afford the game due to the virus shutting down my dad's job and since he is self employed we can't get money, so i'd like the game :) and if I got the switch I'd snag the game but give it to my brother since he has wanted one for ages.
Edit: it was also my brother's 18th but with me not being able to leave the house I couldn't get him anything other than a card :/

My best friend has the corona virus. She is in the hospital now because she has heart problems. She is a really big fan of animal crossing and i wish i could give it to her. My mom works as an ICU nurse and works directly with COVID-19 patients. She's been extremely stressed and paranoid lately especially because she is already prone to upper respiratory problems. I've been slowly bonding with my parents over this game, first introducing them through my amiibo card collection because they like the cute animals. I think this would be a great way to distract my mom, as she already likes to play simple games in her free time :)
I would love to use this to connect with my older brother. I have recently been accepted to the University of MacEwan for a bachelor of science in nursing which means I will have little money for entertainment such as a switch since uni is VERY expensive. I will be extremely busy and stressed (welcome to nursing) and would love to be able to wind down with animal crossing in the time that I have. My older brother and I love animal crossing and all things Nintendo and it would be so special to be able to connect with him in that way as we do not see each other often.

I would love to give it to my mum, as shes a massive animal crossing fan, shes not really been able to sit down and rest as shes taking care of me and my brother. Shes working really hard in the NHS looking after everybody that is suffering from the Coronavirus, it would be a perfect gift for my mum to thank her on behalf of me, my brother and all the people shes helped, also think u should make rover
A few reasons I want the game is because we don’t have much at home ourselves. My dads work is about to be cancelled due to an insufficient supply of orders and my moms work is already closed. I wanted to get the game a few months ago when I saw it would come out but didn’t expect any of this to happen. We are running low on money since neither work now. I would gladly be happy if I don’t win it and it goes to someone else but would definitely make my family happy. I heard we could all play together with the controllers so it would be fun to play a game with my family since most games require multiple consoles nowadays. It’s awesome that your doing this. I hope you pick good winners, people who really need it.

🌸My sister , she is a hair stylist and she has to work even though many work places in Germany have been closed .In germany we are living in a high effected area (NRW) and yet she still has to work even though hair stylists come in contact with many people (also her ps4 was stolen while she was staying in turkey so I thought It would make her happy)

After losing our father our family has been very strapped for cash, so we are forced to live very frugally. Our mom has to work hard to make sure we're all fed, but now our country is on shut down so my mom can't work now because of this epidemic. This would be the perfect way to spend time with family during these stressful times.
I feel for everyone else who has been affected thanks to this virus, and my heart goes out to everyone who has suffered because of it. I'm very grateful for all the medics who risk their health to fight against the virus.

My dad deserves it. I know he has a soft spot for playing games with me, and he’s been working quite a lot where we barely see Him when he leaves or when he arrives. I want to have some time with him when he’s off work and strengthen our bond.
My older brother is a carpender and has to work from 6 to 18 o'clock with a minimum wage despite of the Corona virus. He always wanted to have Animal crossing but he cant afford a nintendo switch.

I think my mom deserves the switch. She is really stressed and is a baby nurse. Although she’s not helping people who have it, she is traveling to many peoples houses and has a high risk of getting it. I think she would like this game a lot and it would cheer her up.🙂
I'd give the console to my best friend, who recently lost her father and aunt in short succession.
And while she is still griefing, she works with people with disabilities as her job everyday, even in the current situation. I feel like she could really need something to cheer her up and to relax.
We've been friends for over 10 years and she's helped me through tough times, so it would be great to be able to give her something back.
My mum and dad work in a hospital and they are good friends with my neighbors who also work in a hospital. They have children and they are going through dark times at the moment. I feel like the game would really cheer them up. 🙂

I would give it to my friend because she unfortunately has an auto immune disease and has been in a hospital to be in compete isolation because if she catches the corona... she will most likely not be able to recover from it. I think my cousin should get it. He is 11 years old right now. When he was 10 years old he lost his dad in an accident . In the past he played many games with his dad. My family is falling apart and my mum and dad are having a divorce. It sounds sad but my switch is the only thing that makes me happy rn. I think my best friend really deserves a switch. She works in a kindergarden, which is one of the few ones that's still open. She puts all her heart into preparing games and fun activities for the children of people who have to work in times like this to make them forget all the anxiety and stress that's going on outside and maybe at their homes. I think she earns somethink to make her forget all the stress and anxiety herself.
I would like to give the switch to a friend of mine. She has no immune system due to medications that help her function daily. Because of that she has been locked up for far longer than most of us since she has a really high risk. I've been wanting to do something for her since she's been calling everyone and making sure our spirits are up. She's often forced to stay in during flu season or when she's in too much pain to go outside. So I'd like to give her something, not just during this lockdown, but after as well... During her own lockdown.

Giveaway: I would like to give the switch to my father. He is always stressing about us with the current pandemic, especially since he is still affected by having to go to work. My family has 2 members out of the 4 that suffer from illnesses, one is chronically asthmatic, who could die if he contracted the virus, and my mother who suffers from multiply ilnesses and could also heavily be affected. I would like my father to receive the switch because he is under so much stress and cannot sit and relax like he used to before and I want him to be able to sit down and relax with us for a while every day and clear up his mind a bit, especially with such a relaxing game as Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
I would love to be able to give this to my grandmother for all she's done for me, she has provided for me for as long as I can remember and still works, and recently she is very worried about getting sick because she still has to work and interact with people in order to make sure our home stays afloat. She has been very stressed lately and being given a chance to play something that activates a state of zen would be much appreciated by her. My uncle works as a nurse in a big hospital in Utah. He has already dealt with a few cases and things are just getting crazier over there. He used to play on the n64 with me and my brothers and this would probably be a great getaway from all of the fuss at the hospital.

She can’t afford a switch, especially now since her and her mom have been out of work because their jobs weren’t “essential”. I think that the switch should go to a hospital, a lot of doctors need to be 24h there to take care of their patients. With the switch, they will distract themselves from the situation in their break times.

My mom! She is a secretary for a K-8 school... She has been running thousands of copies for 2 weeks now due to COVID-19. These copies are for the students at the school. In order to limit the number of people at the school she is working alone during all of this. The goal is to send students homework and supplies such as pencils, erasers, and notebooks! She is such an amazing woman whom I am very proud of. The students at her school will be provided with the supplies needed to keep up with school work! Love her!! This would be a dream come true to get. Not only for my sake, but also for my family’s. We’ve all been stuck at home in quarantine and that can take a toll on people’s sanity haha! Our family friends daughter, her little sister 10, passed away from an aneurysm and their family isn't doing well, they can't have a proper funeral of gathering due to covid-19. I just think it will give them something cheerful to distracting.
First off I want to say that you did a great job remaking the animal crossing characters (my favorite was Isabelle), but for the giveaway I think me and my mom should get the switch because she got laid off from her job and could not buy it for the two of us. Some of our favorite memories came from playing animal crossing together and it would be great if we could experience the new game.

My mom is a doctor helping people every day (with or without the coronavirus). She really wanted to get animal crossing to play when she gets home from the hospital, but she gets home from work when the stores aren't open. I think my best friend deserves it the most she’s dealt with despression and anxiety for the past few year and now with this whole situation going on it’s only getting worse I’m really worried about her:( because she isn’t getting any social interaction. The person I would give it to would be my Dad he loved Nintendo since he was a kid but he dose service and repairs on furnaces and he doesn't get to stay home because he has to go to people's houses to fix there furnace if they don't have heat. As a example last week he had to go to someone's house and fix there furnace right after the person was traveling and going into there houses can be very dangerous because he could get the germs from the virus. So the reason I would like the switch is so I could give it to my dad so he could take it to work and play it on his lunch breaks well and have something to relax and play when he gets home. Entry: It should be for my older brother because my family is going through a divorce and I would like a game that could lighten the mood and bring more happiness to my family, also my family has been put up with physical abuse ever since I was able to chomprehend what is happening.
Before the quarantine started I was preparing myself to get back to college, I had to take a break last semester because of health reasons (physical and mental health) and because of that I have been in a weird limbo for over 6 months, I am in art school and I haven't done any art since July last year, my life has been very, weirdly, hopeless, monotone and tiring. I was actually a little excited to get back to some kind of routine, and try to start my life again, then classes were postponed 1 week, then 2 more weeks, now indefinitely.
The one thing that was keeping my creative flow going was DnD, I started playing last year with two of my best friends and the dungeon master was my friend's dad, today I found out he was admitted to the hospital with the coronavirus, and I'm very scared but trying to be positive as he is much older than me but not on the risk group. The last few days I've felt a little lost, sunday was the first time without DnD because of him being sick.
This quarantine has been scary, my sister is in the risk group because her immune system is compromised, so anytime I have to get out of the house for one reason or another and come back I'm afraid I touched something wrong or bumped into something that maybe could literally kill her.
I knew about Animal Crossing before but I never played, I'm from Brazil so anything that is sold in dollars is extremely expensive here, so I could never afford any video game console. I decided to watch Griffin Mcelroy's live stream of this game and it gave me a lot of peace so I guess I've been a little too excited to get one because it took my mind off of this whole pandemic, and politics involving it, and the state of my life so fast. Another positive thing about the switch is that you can play Just Dance in it, and my sister loves that game :)
I do feel entitled to say me because I'm sure other people deserve prizes because they are doing more for the world but I just don't know any health care provider or person helping the pandemic that would want this console. If this was a money giveaway I wouldnt have enough fingers to point.

My brother has to cancel his birthday next week and our Mum is a key worker.
He also has been saying he wanted a switch for ages.
So it would be nice is he gets it, but its not the end of the world (yet).
I think my friend should get it, his dad left him and his family 2 months ago. Now his mom is struggling to support the family. My friend's birthday was a week ago, and his mom couldn't afford to get him any gifts. He's just been really sad lately. I don't know what to do.
It was one of my favourite games when i was younger but unfortunately I can't afford a switch . Ive watched gameplay of my favourite CZcamsrs and it looks awesome. I've been subscribed for a long time
My friend should take it. She is my best friend and she is older than me for a year. She always worked so hard everyday on her job and even need to take care of her sister and brother. But she never ask for anything. She uses all of the money for her family and her siblings. I hope she can actually uses her free time with the Switch. She deserves to enjoy her time more than anyone else.

I would like to get the switch for my mom. She is a big fan of animal crossing and wanted the switch edition. She wanted to get it but was disappointed that she couldn’t get one because of the Coronavirus. We currently are not allowed to go outside so we cant go pick up anything. I think it would make her and my family happy to be able to get the Animal Crossing switch and cheer us up during this outbreak.

I think my friend should get the switch. She’s a nurse who helps babies and risks her life by working even though they have patients with the corona virus. It’ll be awesome to play with her on the switch together after work so she can cool down.
I think kids who are stuck in quarantine with nothing to do (like me) should get the games, I’m sure it would make their day :)

My name is Nick, im 26 years old and live in Sweden. The last few months have been rough for me, I lost my home, my old job, and my girlfriend, all at the same time. But in the meantime, a blessing occured. I became a father. Ive always loved gaming, but its been really hard for to me afford games lately. Now I got a place to live at least, and things are starting to get better. All by myself, alone with my baby daughter, Animal Crossing and a Nintendo switch would literally save us. Especially during the current situation in the world, I dont have a lot of money, and going outside to different places with a newborn seems scary. So to take care of my child, we need to stay inside and dont have a lot to do. I would have time to relax, and have a wonderful game me and my girl could play together. Especially since its a switch, we can play together everywhere in our house. I just recently bought some clay, inspired after watching your videos - time to make some Animal Crossing characters! To be honest I would like to have the switch for me and my brother we used to play a lot of Animal Crossing Wild World when we were smaller and it created the best childhood memories. Animal Crossing is my favorite Game series but so far I sadly couldn't afford a switch and It would make myself more than happy to play it. Hello ClayClaim, I would like to win the Nintendo Switch to fight boredom in these bad times. I used to play animal crossing on my Nintendo 3DS and thought it was a really fun game. My grandmother has been holed up in the hospital for almost 3 weeks due to her having health compromises. We are extremely worried with all the coronavirus. and has been a huge animal crossing fan for a while, she played with me for years and doesn’t have new horizons yet, hope I can make her days!
My friend's parents' got divorced last month. They are curently trying to cope with all of the mess, but it's even harder for them as his mother is a nurse. I think it would be nice if they could spend some time together, relaxing while playing this game. It would be a true get-away from all the things happening around them.

My mom works to support my family and also tries to pay my brother's college funds and my sister's as well. Now that we're in self quarantine, it’s hard to get enough money to feed a family of six. If I get the switch I would sell it and give it to my mom to pay off the bills.

My aunt deserves the game because she is a doctor in a hospital where the most infected people are. She risks her life their. We support her so much and she tries to relax as much as possible but we don't really have anything to relax at home. She has 6 kids that live in our house because she can't care for them right now. Please give her the switch to relax a little bit.

I want to give it to my husband since he lost his job because of the virus. He hasn't played Animal Crossing before, but it was one of my favorite games as a teenager and he said he would love to play it because I loved it so much growing up.
