When I set up my AC:NH island, I was given the options of 'Oceania' and 'Elsewhere' because I set my console's region to 'Australia / New Zealand'. I think 'Asia' shows up instead if the console's region is set to 'Hong Kong / South Korea / Taiwan' -or 'Japan'.-
