    This was one of the first guitar pedals I’ve ever bought. After touring with it, recording an album with it, passing all sorts of instruments through it (including a trumpet and a Casio SK-1, among others), and lord knows what else, I can definitively say that I still don’t have a clue how to use this pedal in any practical application.

      so it takes your guitar signal, and adds in one octave below and one octave above in to it?
      So in other words, it is like if your signal got split in 3: one was clean, one was through an octave up effect, and one was through an octave down effect, and they got added together back into one signal at the end?

      @@-jank-willson That's an octave pedal. No. this one is a Harmonist. It adds specific intervals like thirds, sixths or fifths as far as I know.

    • @paulsguitarstudio126
      @paulsguitarstudio126 Před rokem

      OH please. What on earth is one's notion of Boutique? Boss is all fine and good for ones first venture into pedal land but competing with high end lines, come on...Little Boss pedals are just not that great and they have B grade buffers in and out. Cascading a chain of little Boss makes for a cascade of way too many low end buffers.

    dont knock it until you've heard someone who can actual put this to full good use this guys demo sucks i agree but just go listen to some others using one. you might just change your mind and it has some nice harmonix in it if u use it right. this guy on here is just using it for silly alien sounds which no one would use in a song .the sounds he used are ok only if u was planning to make an alien movie but even for that it still sounds crap i think its just his playing
