  • Early End to the World Cruise
Yes we have ended our 180 Day Around the World Cruise 28 days early to be home for the birth of our first grandchild Benji. After 18 hours of travel from Cape Town to LAX we made a quick stop at home to drop luggage and repack and then flew and drove to Forest City Iowa to take delivery on our new Winnebago Vista NPF motorhome which we had ordered prior to embarking on the world cruise. Then we drove the motorhome 2000 miles home to California as fast as we could and made it intimate to be there for the birth of our grandson which is imminent.
Thank you for following our adventure! We are sorry that we did not completely the full 180 days, but we think you will understand why we had to leave.
Stay tuned as we hit the road soon and explore amazing road trips around North America. And who knows maybe world travel adventure awaits as well.
    Happy traveling!

Hit the Road in Style and Sustainability: Exploring the 2025 Winnebago Vista NPF
Adventure awaits with the 2025 Winnebago Vista NPF, a luxurious Class A gas motorhome designed for comfort, exploration, and eco-conscious travel. This special edition Winnebago, built in collaboration with the National Parks Foundation (NPF), offers unique features that cater to the outdoor enthusiast.
    National Parks Ready
The Vista NPF isn't just named after the National Parks - it's built for them. With a compact size that allows for easier maneuvering when entering campsites, the NPF is your perfect companion for exploring the vast natural beauty of America's National Parks system.
    Luxury on the Move
Step inside the Vista NPF and be greeted by a spacious and well-appointed interior. Standard features like MCD roller shades and LED lighting provide a modern feel, while the available powered StudioLoft bed creates additional sleeping space for families or groups. Winnebago's legendary quality shines through in every detail, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free journey.
    Innovation Meets Sustainability
The 2025 Vista NPF goes beyond aesthetics. It boasts an upgraded solar energy system with three solar panels, a powerful charge controller, and a 320-amp lithium-ion battery. This allows for greater off-grid capability, letting you enjoy the serenity of nature without relying solely on campground hookups.
    Unveiling the Outdoors in Comfort
One of the most exciting features of the NPF is the dual-awning setup. Unlike any other Winnebago offering, the NPF boasts a massive batwing awning that wraps around the side, creating a whopping 310 square feet of shaded outdoor space. This expansive covered area is perfect for relaxing under the stars, enjoying meals al fresco, or simply taking in the view.
    The Tailgate Package for Adventure
For those who love to spend time outdoors, the optional Tailgate Package adds even more functionality. This package includes an LP gas hookup, an exterior refrigerator, a sink, and a grill or stovetop connection, transforming the back of your RV into a convenient outdoor kitchen.
The Perfect Blend for the Eco-Conscious Traveler
The 2025 Winnebago Vista NPF is a compelling choice for RVers who value both comfort and sustainability. With its efficient solar system, compact size for navigating parks, and features designed to connect you with the outdoors, the NPF allows you to explore responsibly and leave a minimal footprint.
