Who in your opinion fight the best as an army? Ukraine, Russia or IDF?
It's funny that when russia utilized cope cages everyone made fun of them, but now that israel is using them everyone is silent.
Thats true. Making fun of Russia was a big mistake.
Cope cages might work here, the reason they were laughted at in Ukraine was because the Russians thought It would stop a Javelin
Hamas does not have Javelins. Slat armor works very well against contact fuse warheads such as the RPG7's HEAT warheads, even if it is pretty much single use.
The Javelin has a warhead designed to detonate at standoff, above the vehicle. Because of this, the main purpose of slat armor, to create a standoff between the warhead and the armor, is moot when being engaged by such ATGMs.
Meanwhile, RPGs utilize a contact fuse, the type of warhead slat armor was designed to defeat
They still don't work. Tanks are coffins.
@@ranbojd1070 The Russians mounted "cope cages" on their armor to minimize the damage of drone attacks on their tanks. It was never intended to stop Javelins
Ukraine is sad that its no longer the Main squeeze of this channel 😢. Zelensky's only chance now is to say he's pregnant🫃and that the U.S, is the father, so they can't leave him for israel.

Don't know man. Im totally neutral, but these palestinian young fighters in their crocs and t-shirt, running around with an RPG, hiding in holes vs Merkavas and elite units with uav backups...It's far from a balanced fight and much far from an ambush later. Just my 2 cents.
@@thisiswherethefunbegins This isn't different than the US vs NVA in Vietnam, USSR + US vs Taliban in Afghanistan, or other State vs non-state actor conflicts.
The substantive differences:
- Israel is fighting on their own land, as opposed to a war a few thousand miles away
- Hamas targets civilians as a core of its strategy, whereas the NVA and Taliban didn't seem to (someone correct me if my observation is incorrect)
This Gaza conflict seems to reignite the US posture in Iraq to orient towards a dense urban combat environment vs say open field fighting.
In Ukraine, Russia is experiencing something kind of similar in that the Ukrainian army and materiel is embedded in towns and cities (Bakhmut, Avdeevka as examples). Russia's strategy has been to create cauldrons and invite their enemy to send troops in to defend the space, where Russia them proceeds to defeat them.
Israel doesn't have the luxuries of strategic territorial depth or time, so it has to be more direct.
Removing the geographic barries, essentially Russia and Israel were both provoked into a conflict and the reality is massive destruction of property and lives.
I wonder openly if wars are going to change to the point where civilian populations are held directly liable for the political decisions their civilian and military leaderships make to take them to war. Example, if I vote for XYZ government and said government triggers a war with its neighbor, do I as a voter and taxpayer deserve to pay a price (my life potentially) for that political decision...? 🤔
I'm not even thinking about Russia or Israel because they're in deep progrss, but rather new conflicts in the years ahead.
@@thisiswherethefunbegins what I was meaning was that things are going too good for isreal right now, if hamas was infact good enough to pull off what happened oct 7 (keep in mind mossad did train them...and isis) then I would expect them to have something planned once isreali forces are deep in Gaza. however if idf goes in and cleans house then people should start asking "what really happened oct 7?"

This ongoing dispute stands out as the most controversial subject in history by a long shot. The intensity of the debates and the heightened emotions surrounding it are unparalleled. Almost everyone finds it incredibly challenging to entertain any divergent viewpoint on the issue. If you express support for the Palestinians, you risk being labeled an antisemite. On the flip side, backing the Israelis might brand you as a supporter of apartheid, a fascist, or an Islamophobe. If you attempt a more balanced or neutral position, you could be accused of cynicism and opportunism for not outright condemning perceived injustices. It seems like, no matter what, you're destined to be tagged as the bad guy.
Why would that be a priority right now?? The labeling of “antisemite” when opposing genocide is by design. The Israeli PR program called “Hasbara” specifically states this tactic is to silence people so they never speak again.
Why would anyone care about a label for opposing genocide?

I suspect they're keeping the troops back from tanks due to Trophy. Once the Trophy system goes off, it'll rip through you to set off the warhead. So standing alongside the tank within a few hundred meters from any probable approach vector for an incoming round is a very dangerous prospect for a little crunchy with a plate carrier. It seems likely to me, therefore, that infantry either go forward to blaze a trail, or stay behind and cover. Not the best solution, but I remember the US not being keen on Trophy's use with early adoption of the TUSK package in Iraq. Just something to think about.
Indeed one Israeli casualty happened in another war from that very thing. Standing next to the trophy is dangerous
trophy doest work
Didnt know we had implemented Trophy's for warfare now. And why would people stand next to one anyways in the middle of a war... seems stupid.
@@teddyGros It’s what I was told in training in the US Army. A DS said “A tank is more valuable than you shitheads. So keep your distance if you don’t want to be in a body bag.” Ended up not working with tanks at all during my entire contract. 😄
That won't explain why the IDF tanks move literally side by side around the streets. Some of them are about a meter apart. The explosion from the Trophy system should be able to damage nearby tanks as well. Even if not critical, such damage will still prove difficult for the maintenance crews.

This war is making strange bedfellows in the culture wars at home
The IDF plans to dig a small canal from the sea to one of the main tunnel entrances and flood the whole network at once with water from the sea. Egypt did this not such a long time ago on a small scale in the south of Gaza to counter counterfeit and smuggling from under the Rafah border into the south of Gaza. They didn't use the sea but they simply pumped water into the tunnels under the Rafah border with Egypt and Gaza.
Judging by the amount of weapons they have in Gaza, I'd not be surprised if Egypt really was arming Gaza but maintaining silence about it. Israeli media already accused Egypt of that.

The expressions used in this video encapsulate what essentially everyone knows: Northfolk aligned "minds" never learned anything from Vietnam.
They really thing the war was "won" by sound strategy up to a point in which "home bound lack of support" and other small factors led to a quick turn of tables.
While Northfolk is blissfully unwared of "empathy power", as they think their efforts are always "just" and their causes always virtuous, like thinking Vietcongs (northfolk famous demonization tacts) or the National Liberation Front, were the U.S. sought to prop up a nominally democratic and capitalist South Vietnamese government, despite serious abuses and violations of human rights by the client state there. Understandably, the North Vietnamese and much of the South Vietnamese population resented this interference.
Most likely, Hamas is leaving Israel to do all the "Human Rights violations" they want, and all the "genius show of dominance" they want, so they can make the region "resent" that interference. Guerrilla tactics are never meant to stop the big enemy in their tracks, but to allow the enemy to walk into traps, and those are not only ambushes and minefields.
We all know that the US lost the "America war" (the name the Vietnam people call the war) because it was so certain things were going their way, that they supposed US citizens would back them up indefinitely, as the rest of the World. Same as that time, it was a war "started" by a "fellow Northfolk" (France in the case of Vietnam), and for a region that was no right or domain for either. And that plays a role, as we all know that regional forces interference, not all friendly to Vietnam "communists" and "nationalists", sought to aid Vietnam in the war with the sole purpose of fighting a common enemy, the French and the USA. That would not be the case, should neither had incurred the wrath of regional powers in that case.
What we see with Gaza is the recontextualization of the structure of that war, which will inevitably lead to the same conclusion. IT is like a Marvel reboot of 80s movies: It is dumb and senseless, dont do the same good parts, but repeat all the mistakes.
By now the USA should have learned, along with other northfolk, what they themselves use to say: Wars are won or lost by printing press. The fight just pass the veredict.
What diplomacy does is try to avoid war as passing veredicts.
This is true, there is more than 1 way to win a war. The problem with the 'Northfolk' methods as you phrased it, is 'Northfolk' are no lonflger willing to go full scale total war until achieving a complete and total victory. The result then, is literally decades of back and forth, tons of time and resources and lives wasted in a war that 'Northfolk' likely should never have engaged in and never had the will to actually win. You don't need to win the propaganda war, but it certainly helps.
How can you use Guerrilla tactics?
Israel intends to turn Gaza into a big flat car park center!
How can they hide when all of the tunnels are destroyed.
We are living in the new millennium with technology far superior to the Vietnam War.
The Radar and Sat can detect Hamas movement even underground, you know?
And who cares about human rights violations.
Israel was already caught off guard and has lost the trust of the Arab nation. (The war clearly the intention of Iran to shatter the peace between Israel and other Arabs with completed its object after the Hamas massacre the civilians but still gained support from many organizations around the globe)
So Israel must gain from their loss, destroyed Gaza and show their military might over the worl instead of care over terrorism supporter in UN coucil. (Yep, the money and resource that Hamas gained mostly came from UN)
Haha I like that you refer to Europeans as north folk, what ethnicity are you?
Who won then ?!
@cavalieroutdoors6036 The problem is that in the case of Vietnam, they could not have gone "full scale total war" unless you want a war with China. It's not they didn't want to, but they just couldn't. The goal of the war also never to destroy North Vietnam, but rather to keep the South alive.
Similar with Russians in Ukraine - they can't invade or attack NATO to stop supplies and support to Ukraine.
If Hamas was really setting an epic-sized trap for the IDF, they wouldn't be begging for a ceasefire and pulling every international connection they have to pressure Israel into stopping. And this is not "pretending to want a ceasefire to fool the enemy", this is hysteria and playing a sad violin on every capital in the world.
if Hamas is a "terrorist group" , Israel (that has the most "ethical" army in the world, ironically) should not behave like a terrorist group and be an equivalent of Hamas... we see that most of victims are children, from when children were fighting for Hamas?
Israel commits war crime, in a way you implied it... Despicable
Israel sees every Palestinian civilian, medical convoy, medical stuff, houses, schools, UN buildings, the elderly, women, children, babies on incubators as Hamas fighters, and legitimate target...
Everyone in the eyes of Israel are hams, what it really does is a policy of full destruction of, not only Hamas (still not impacted), but all signs of life in gaza... clearly a burned land policy, previously used by naz*s and the USSR like the systematic starvation, and collective punishment... War crimes!
What you just said, is exactly like saying that :" well jew. s were killed as a normal consequence of war, and it's normal to the world to expect the genocide and ethnic cleansing commited against them"
Now zionist do the same as na. zis did... despicable
@@dansoufo.s.d.s6971 Are you replying to my comment? How is the definition of IDF or Hamas relevant to what I wrote?
And for your questions, Hamas (and other militant/terror groups throughout history) have been using children constantly. The youngest suicide bomber in Israel was a 14 year old Palestinian. There is a whole wiki page just for that - "Use of child suicide bombers by Palestinian militant groups". Humanitarian groups reported the usage of children as messengers and couriers for military purposes, in addition to storing weapons in UNRWA schools. I would say that encouraging small children, 8-9-10 years old, to throw stones at passing cars is also a vile and soulless tactic.
You can criticize the IDF as much as you'd like, but the ruling authority in Gaza, which is Hamas, has responsibility to protect their civilians - if they don't even try to protect their own, they lose their legitimacy as government and are reduced to simply a terrorist group. Not only do they not attempt to protect their civilians, they are even proudly admitting it. You can see Hamas spokesman saying this if you look for "Hamas Official Mousa Abu Marzouk: Gaza Tunnels Were Built to Protect Hamas Fighters, Not Civilians" on CZcams.

Slat armor (or slat armour in British English), also known as bar armor, cage armor, and standoff armor, is a type of vehicle armor designed to protect against high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) attacks, as used by anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) and rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs).
Operation
Slat armor takes the form of a rigid slatted metal grid fitted around key sections of the vehicle, which disrupts the shaped charge of the warhead by either crushing it, preventing optimal detonation from occurring, or by damaging the fuzing mechanism, preventing detonation outright. Although slat armor is effective against incoming missiles, it does not offer complete protection - as many as 50% of missile impacts are unimpeded by the slat design.[1] Slat armor is more likely to be effective if the cage spacing is less than the diameter of the incoming RPG round, which is commonly 85 mm.[2]

By cage spacing, does it mean the space between the cage and the armor, or the space between the grils of the cage ?
Excellent video explaining the tactics of both sides.
Not really, watch War stream he explains better
@@yakinthebox Never heard of it. I'll check it out. Thanx.
After I read and watch the foolishness coming out of the legacy media, I come to this channel to get the real gouge.
One should not underestimate the IDF, their whole doctrine is based on the very true idea that if they lose even one war the state of Israel will cease to exist, so they are very intense about not losing wars.
But they lost one in 2006
seriously, all armies of the world should watch this channel
😂🤦🏻♀️
Bravo for info and good wideo!
14:20 so the joke about turning Gaza into Walmart parking lot is quite realistic ?? :D
Hey there your description of the ground situation is well explained so much so that a dumb guy like me begin to understand complex military strategy ifeel that HMS has prepared this very carefully and IDF is walking into a trap
Looking forward for your interview with Viva Frei, the man, the myth and other legend of CZcams! That should be very insightful!
Great as always!
