- Unboxing and first impressions of the FN Reflex. This is an 11+1 carry pistol and has an extended 15+1 capacity. It is an internally hammer fired pistol, which makes it different than some others in its class. The FDE looks great and the gun feels great in the hand. Also a huge bonus that it fits in glock 48 mos holsters. See how it compares to other carry pistols in its class.

I'm wonder is IT better than masada slim?
To be honest, without even firing the gun yet I feel like I can answer that. And id have to say no. Masada slim comes optics ready at a price about 200 dollars lower than the FN. Now the FN has a shorter grip which would allow for better concealment, but you shouldn't ever have issues concealing the masasda. Masada has a noticeably better trigger out of the box as well. This may sound like I'm crapping on the FN reflex, but I truly just believe the masada slim is the best gun on the market for $375. The FN is probably a fantastic gun and I'm looking forward to shooting it a lot. The FDE also looks amazing and for some shooters, its worth the extra $. I guess I can revisit this after 1000 rounds through the FN Reflex.

@@donio8194 Ill be putting the first 500-1000 rounds through it over the next couple days, so I'll hopefully have that finished up here in about a week or so.

Any updates after shooting it a bit?
Big fan of it so far. Grip feels very nice. Haven't put a red dot on yet, which I'd like to do before I post a full review of it. It's very light though, shoots great, and is easy to carry.

May as well order you a sig #8 rear sight. You will need it 🙄
I was thinking of putting the 507k sight on. It has a built in rear sight so i'm wondering if that would work.
@@jackedrabbit117 I have a 407k on mine and I can co-witness with factory sights on it. I referred the #8 sig rear sight because this gun is prone to shoot low left because FN has installed the wrong sights from the factory. Rear is a #6 and should be a #8 and i still had to drift my rear sight to the right about a millimeter. Trigger is excellent and I really do like this gun so a little more investment to make it right was worth it to me. Good luck with yours!!
@dave_1958 that's good to know. Now that you mention it, I think I remember reading something like that about the rear sight.
It sucks that some people have to do that, mine has been fine so far out of the box, hopefully FN pulls a sig and nips all the problems in bud with the reflex like sig did with the p365
