    I changed the battery in the top part of my easy touch panel and the wireless began to work again. It was the CR3023 battery.

    Hi....I have the pentair easy touch system with the app. My pool is 4 years old. All was working fine up until last week. From the app i have no problem controlling the pool, my spillway, the heaters, lights and other landscape lights hooked up to the system. BUT just this week, all of a sudden, I cannot get the jets in the spa to open, stay on with full propulsion . I get a little bubble of water in all the jets and then , low flow. My pool guy was here and he checked all , we got the jets flowing at full force, so we know there is no blockage in the jet lines. We turned them on and off from my phone app while he was here and it seemed fine. Then of course, an hour after he left, i tried to turn the jets on and NADDA!!! I'm stumped. Can you help ?

    It looks like the person that installed the outside antenna pulled off the ID sticker. Any way to look up that number?

    I have this system but I can only control it though the app at home. Is this system supposed to work remotely also? If not can you point me in the direction

    Josh,
    Great video. I have a question on part numbers. My transceiver on the outside of the house is toasted. When it is plugged into the logic board on the screen logix, the 3v relay trips and turns it all off. When I remove the wifi transceiver from the RS port, everything is fine. So i assume the board in my transceiver is toast. So i am considering buying a new or used one. However i cannot seem to find the proper replacement part number. The one I have inside my housing is BLUE color with an antenna and it said LAIRD. on it. But all the PCB's I see online are green. Is this a true replacement for my blue one (520946Z)? I guess another option is to ditch this method and use a wifi repeater - correct? thanks for amazing content!

    Our iPhones used to work fine but now shows connection and turning on the pool or waterfall or Lighting but nothing actually happens. What is wrong? Do you think it is outside transceiver that was installed on top of control box?

      There could some kind of interference issue. They want you to install the antenna a few feet away from other electronic/electric devices for both antennas.

    If the WiFi ssid is changed how do you connect to the new ssid?

    Seems like it would have been less expensive to have the home owner put in a single mesh network or one wifi extender in the house.

    What an expensive solution for a WiFi range problem that could be solved for under $100 by improving the entire home's WiFi not just this item. Instead this junk ran over how much money? Esh

    • @SwimmingintheDeep
      @SwimmingintheDeep Před 4 lety +1

      You are spot on. This expensive solution is not needed when you can use a $20 wireless network adapter and achieve the same thing $480 device he mentions. Here's a video of how to do that... czcams.com/video/8o74R0HZ3nw/video.html

      @@garryhurkens but you CAN use wifi to do the same thing. czcams.com/video/8o74R0HZ3nw/video.html

      I agree with irishTR210, this could have solved with with a WiFi WAP! That cost less than $100. Instead the pool guy took advantage of the home owner charged them and arm and leg for a simple solution!

      @mperez738 the protocol adapter lets you sync to the app. It's useful when converting from a handheld remote to your phone app, but i agree. If its a range thing, this is not the right equipment for anyone with that issue.
