Oh, I am so sorry Rosie is hurting, it just rips your heart out when a pet is in pain & they can't tell you where it hurts. We as humans can learn so much from our pets, they really want little more than our love & a scratch behind the ear & they're happy. We're sending prayers your way, hoping for a good outcome....... And once again, great video!

@Courtney, What you are calling the independent mower deck lift operated with the SVC lever, JD calls the "hydraulic lift" option. "Independent lift" on the JD's is an electric over hydraulic system, with a rocker switch on the dash pedestal, that engages a one way hydraulic cylinder to lift the mid mower deck which then lowers down onto the deck height assembly once the switch is released.

  • @alittleofthisandalittleofthat

As I watching this I was thinking how you have all your tractors under cover. My 5 year old 1025r has never stayed outside a night. The last few years I have been looking at JD dealers in my area and I was horrified to look at some of the hydraulic cylinders on some of the tractors on their lots! Surface rust, if fact one place had a backhoe sitting for over a year and the cylinders were ruined. I thought where they couldn’t put each tractor under cover at least spray the exposed cylinder shaft with WD40. Or something to help keep the water from pitting and rust forming. Do you know of something to use? One sales guy when I mentioned it said, “ oh a little rub with something will remove that “ me thinking yea and down the road the seals leaking from this... no thanks. So hats off to you putting your machines under cover. 👍

The quick couplers can be an alarming problem. A few weeks ago I lost most of my dump function on my loader. Of course I was just livid thinking I had a friend with my control valve. After scouring the internet someone suggested it could be a bad coupler(simple fix). It turned out that was all it was. Even thought it was a couple of hours work it was not nearly a big deal.

Some possible good news for Rosie. Our pooch started showing signs of hip & joint pain to the point she wouldn't jump nor climb stairs. Turns out there's an over the counter med you can purchase. I have purchased it under the names; Happy Hips and Hip & Joint. The dosage depends on your dogs weight. This coupled with the Hip & Joint chews might really put the pep back in her step. Blessings

We just lost our dog to ITP, very similar issue. Watch her muscle loss on the steroids. It is a tough balance between suppressing the immune system but reducing the steroids when you can so that they do not deteriorate too much. Unfortunately for ours we could not reduce the steroids enough to allow him to get better. The one time we tried to reduce aggressively he had a relapse and platelets dropped excessively. She will be in our prayers. Enjoy the videos!

Pets are family!! It’s tough. Sorry to hear. But my biggest thing is taking off the loader when it’s 70 degrees out and the when I need it it’s 90 degrees out and the hydraulics on the loader have built up pressure. Almost impossible to hook up. Does someone make a tool to release pressure on the QD. Bang the ball of the QD on the tractor sprays all over the place. If not I will have to dream up a tool 😂. If I build one I will take a picture and send it to you. Also what’s the price on a new style (quick connect) backhoe for a 3520 with cab. Thanks!!

I am still learning things about my Mahindra tractor, but your videos helped in explaining a lot of things i did not understand. Every tractor company should have a mandatory course of a couple hours to teach people the ins and outs especially when removing the front end loader or adding implements on front and back of the tractor. Also the things you can do when getting stuck in field mud by using the front end loader to pull or push you back that would also include getting stuck in snow. Maybe there are already courses available, but if not you would be the perfect person to start one.

Last year I took delivery of a TLB 1025R with a drive over mower. I did not realize how tight the pier beyond hoses were and did not realize that those couplers were not connected when I was trying to raise and lower my mower deck with the rock shaft lever. Dealer re came out and he did not realize it was not connected for I bet a half hour either. After that was figured out, I later had an issue with attempting to connect power to the back hoe. I left the support legs down when I took backnhoe off due to stories I heard about them losing that hydraulic pressure and sinking the arm and having an issue to connect. A former co worker came by (I am pretty strong, have to kee in shape for work, he is farmer strong and has paws like a bear), we tried for an hour to connect the couplers, finally called another retired buddy who worked for Cat years ago. Said release but on back hoe couplers, a shot glass full or so of hydro fluid came out, and then my wife couldn’t have connected it it was so easy. Both of those things would have been nice to have had pointed out to me at dealership as a new tractor owner. Live and learn I guess.

To any who took the time to read above, I apologize for the misspellings and words that do not fit, a pain to comment with I phone. As a follow up, I properly disconnect and set back hoe as the instructions say, and have not had any coupler issues, and though it is sagging a bit, it has not fallen over and I have not had issues re connecting the back hoe. Lesson learned again.

@@GoodWorksTractors yeah sorry, just a general saying about knowing every machine one owns that can prevent tons of mishaps and problems with operating the machine\s.. it works for me too
Ppl mostly ditch the owne's\operator's manual as they unbox or unwrap the new purchase and that's just the actual waste of time in the longer run. You know that, no news there. Read it once or twice and you will tackle problems with ease if you will actually run into any since you have read about all the knobs, levers and procedures..

      The manual for my 1723E
is not that helpful on some items. It did not at all mention the slip coupler on the mid mower, nor removing the front two pins. Both videos online only show the person undoing the rear pins, almost as if you leave the front two pins attached to the front bracket rod. Nope. Once I undid front pins, front bracket was much easier to move. It also didn't mention that you can't take the deck of work the FEL all the way down, the front bracket rod hits the FEL. Hint for new owners like me... WD 40 those pins.
