Anyone else realize that Hope is truly an Original now? Like she is the Original Tribrid and that's crazy. Also when Hope starts compelling people I don't think imma be able to handle it its gonna be too awesome

I'm not sure if she's original-strength tho. Like I understand her becoming the first of her kind, but I don't think there can be any more of her. It all came down to parents and her being in the original bloodline and a firtborn witch. Like I think she can still die by fire, heart-rip, etc. While she is probably REALLLLYY hard to kill with her still having access to magic, I think she's still killable. However, this has remained unproven!! AHHH SHE HAS MAGIC IM SO FREAKING OUT
@@zenlightss honestly I would guess they are going to make her Original level powerful. Cause apparently the one weapon that can kill her is the new tree that they made last episode, at least thats what I've seen people saying. It's her version of the white oak stake. Plus I mean she was throwing Malivore around like a ragdoll. Not to mention, given that she is pretty much gonna be the main threat for the rest of the season, it would make her way more terrifying and formidable if she is as powerful as her father. Cause if she is as weak as a newborn vampire, then she would be significantly less dangerous and it doesn't seem like that's the route we are taking
@@darthhollister01 Yeah, for sure. This is going to be so exciting. I really want to see Claire flip Hope's switch back in the next episode (I'm hypothesizing). The tree that they planted is probably going to be the only weapon that can kill her, but it's going to be a long route for that to happen. She's so formidable that I hope the writers take a turn in how they're producing the show and may limit the monsters a bit. Now the main antagonist is Hope, but I'm sure she'll switch her humanity back on after doing some evil things and seeing Rebekkah again. I also think she's human.
Just thought about it, imagine if Hope kills Rebekkah? I think she took the cure in the last episodes of the Originals since Klaus left it for her in Mystic Falls, so that could be her guilt right there. It's going to be CRAZY! But I am so excited for it again.

I think that finch and Josie will be temporary while hope is dealing with her grief and transition. Then hope will probably have to deal with making things right and getting forgiveness. After all of that I think they will put hope and Josie together especially if Josie learns to accept her dark side and be just powerful Josie.
I really hope you are right because I can’t stand Jonch. There’s no chemistry to speak of and their relationship has only taken away from Josie’s development.
I’m tired of being shipbaited by the writers with Hosie too. Either go for it or say it’ll never happen so we can move on.

So I think that Kaleb and Ethan were able to keep their powers because they were directly infected by Malivoire. The other people were all second hand infected. That’s kind of my theory to it.
This was THE best episode. I’m so happy we finally got (almost) everything we’ve been waiting for, it was so satisfying 🤩🤩 it was such a rollercoaster tho, I had the same reaction when Malivore was gonna maybe keep living in another body 😂 also why did Cleo never try touching the floor of Malivore before?

I was livetweeting during the episode and the general consensous on the hashtag was that they were happy that Hope hurt Ric . And that if he was seriously hurt or he died, he had it coming. I haven't watched since mid season 2 but since I have been a TVD and Originals fan since day one, Hope becoming the Tribrid, was a moment years in the making. I had to see it for myself. I was shocked at the level of animosity a lot of people hold towards Ric. And it wasn't just on Twitter. Places on Reddit and Tumblr had similar views on what happened to him. This doesn't sound like the Ric that I knew from the other series, so I asked people why they hate him so much. People feel that Ric is a horrible father, that he is emotionally and psychologically abusive towards Hope and that he generally mistreats the students under his care. Like I said, I haven't seen the show since season 2, so I was shocked by it.
@carter mckenzie Well thats sad honestly. Ive been a fan since Tvd season 1 and seen all 3 shows. Every episode probably 10 times. Sad to say now that i think about it. But i always liked ric as a character. I just hope they dont have Hope killing him. Cause that would just be sad

I think they’re going to try to search for the weapon they can use for Hope, because they wouldn’t mention it if it’s not going to come into play at some point.
I hate how they made Hope say "a non consentual kiss is never the answer" but in relationships it seems to be okay if its not consentual (even tho consantuality is a very important thing in relationships so it just doesnt send a right message) I also hate how they made hope act out of character in s3 and now they are "fixing" her and then they are starting to mess up josies character even after she finally stood up for herself.
