Great video! I'm considering either a Q60 SS with a full ECUtek tune, or a Q50 RS with a JB4. I TOTALLY agree about shifting gears yourself! I had a G37x 7AT coupe before this, and I manually shifted like 95% of the time! ...that rev-matching yo! 🤤

Yo Boost, I have been following you for a while and I love your content. You suggested to get lower down pipes to go on my Infiniti Q 50 but, when I tried to order them they would not send them to me because I had to sign a waiver saying that I was racing the car and I had no race lined up to tell them about. Is there a way to get around this waiver with AMS to order lower down pipes for my 2018 Infiniti Q 50 silver sport? Or, should I get different down pipes then the AMS down pipes? How do I get these down pipes ordered!

You trust the stock fuel system running any type of E mix?
To run e85 on my 2018 q60 on map 7 do I need fuel injectors or a tune to go along with the jb4 or can I just pump it without having to do anything different

how much does psi of boost does map1 make? planning on running a stock luxe q50 and keep it at map1? is that bad?
Just a note Infiniti doesn't warentee over 15% alcohol. The system may degrade at higher alcohol levels. It's in the book. Proceed with caution/at your own risk.

Yes, the car will run much better. You'll get some jerkiness with stock pumps

Turbines have no way to slow down because there is no back pressure. Causing turbo surge. According to boost in another comment

Hey man. I have a 16 premium 3.0t with hx, lower down pipes, intakes, JB4, and exhaust. On 93 octane. What would you recommend for peak added boost for me?
I just tried to order lower downpipe’s yesterday and AMS called me this morning telling me that I could not order the lower down pipes because I was not racing and I did not have a race lined up to tell them about. How did you go about getting your downpipe’s? I really want to order some lower down pipes and they will not send them to me.

This might’ve been answered but I have a 3.0t non red sport. So I should not go over map 3 with a Jb4? I have no other mods. I don’t want to blow turbos. Also what hp Gains will I get out of the jb4 for map2 or 3?

There is no way to slow down the turbines. You need a little bit of back pressure on the turbines. The wastegates are not big enough help prevent turbo surge

Hey I have a 19’ q50 with cold air intakes and a cat back. Is it safe to run map 7 without risking to blow the turbos?
If you haven't yet you should look into a heat exchanger to help support the higher maps
Hi i own a jb4 for my 19 q50 silver sport, my mods are ams intake, ams heat exchanger, ams auxiliary intercooler, ams lower downpipes, add w1 oil catch can, hks blow off valves, axleback exhaust 5 inch tips. What map do u recommend and im in call 91 and e85 are available. What map 6 can u guys help with so i can run freely and. Safely. Please get back to me

Random questions, is there any benefits for a na g37 to run E85? Is there any gains I can achieve or is that a waste of money ?
You could add a gallon of e85 to bring your octane up from say 91 to 94, but if youre not getting knock on 91, you wont make more power. If you tuned for an ethanol blend you could pick up a few hp through timing increases but nothing like a turbo car. Prolly not worth it.

I do without a heat exchanger for about a year. But if you live in a hotter climate a heat exchanger is necessary

Wait until the new 2021 q50 comes out. It will have android Auto and apple CarPlay and a faster processor. It may also be a straight swap...

@@FlexFast Thats awesome! I am treading very lightly with mods because in the last 35k miles I have had my belt shred 5 times. Bad luck I guess.
@@poketobyb when u take itin are they just replacing the belt. The car feom factory may come with sumthibg misaligned. Once that is fixed itll never shred a belt. Look into it!! I forgot i dont have that car anymore
@@FlexFast They replaced the a/c compressor tensioner pulley, and all pulleys on the front of the motor each time. And they did follow the service bulletin to re-"align" the compressor. but they informed me it isn't a guaranteed fix, because they just over torque one or two of the 3 bolts. So far this is the longest (5k miles) I've gone without a belt issue.

I'm running these exact boost settings, but I only have access to 91 Octane(California problems).

My data logs have been looking fine and I've been on Map 6 for months now.
I also have AMS LDP, Frozen Boost Heat exchanger, HKS BOV, AMS Intakes, and Custom Straight pipe.

Jordan White 7psi seems rather high for 91 but if logs look fine and driveability is not an issue should be fine

no our cars can handle about 3 to 4 gallons of e85 then put the rest 91

Curious... I'm running MAP 6 most of them time... peaking at 6 at optimum rpm... 94 octane up here. How does MAP 7 work? is it +7 psi across the full rpm range? Or it works upto 7psi?
map 7 has +7 peak. map 6 is custom setting

Lowers should be just fine... with full downpipes you're risking not enough back pressure to slow the turbines back down..
