Duppie freestyle was a much better record all around in nearly every metric, that being said the disrespect and shocking information that Push came with gave Push a clear W… I’m a fan of battle rap and sometimes shock value, disrespect and the angle you shoot at someone is more important than the bars, wordplay, and punchlines, beat ect, and as a Drake fan and hip hop fan I’m SUPER satisfied with drakes diss to Push from a lyrical perspective and let’s not forget Drake didn’t have to engage but decided too which is super respectable, now that being said I’m honestly disappointed we didn’t get to see them go back and fourth in a more traditional way but that’s on Drake for having that shocking information hidden and smart on Push for choosing that route. Hopefully we get to see Drake move smarter this time around and redeem himself with Kendrick!
