After I took off the the PMI and lowered my rate to 2.875% my mortgage is now under $1.1k. I thank God everyday I wake up and jump in my 97 accord when I go to work 🙏🏽

@@kguti3 it sucked because I did a 5% conventional loan so I had to put down almost $13k for the down payment and all the other fees so I had zero dollars in savings and I was living paycheck to paycheck!

I brought a home in 2000 when i realized my landlord was raising my rent 5% every year i signed that lease and it would be almost double in 10 years. The apartment i was renting then started back then $650 now going $1600

Grant is running a business. He's taken on a lot of financial risk to achieve the success that he's achieved. What do you want him or any other real estate investor to do buy apartment buildings and lower the rents and not have enough money to cover their mortgage on the property and other expenses? Barely break even or be in the negative every month after they pay all of the property expenses? It's not the investors fault that rents are skyrocketing, blame the government for that cause they're the ones who cause inflation to keep going through the roof. The investors have to pay more and more money to buy rental properties because of the inflation and high interest rates and have to keep raising rents just remain profitable.
Problem is that will never happen. Government needs to regulate it and they won't.

Go look up rent prices in 2000, 2010, and 2020. I guarantee you will see rents around 3x higher today than in 2000.

I bought my house in i think 2015 for $7,500. It was a fixer upper but it was actually liveable in the original condition. After i bought it and cleaned it out i moved in. Over the years, if I would to put a # on it, id say ive probably put 30k into it. And this has been all cash minus about 4k which i bought all of my siding with and used about 1500 as a split payment for some concrete work. All of the work besides the exterior was done by me. I have a new roof, gutters, siding, and fence. I bought all the materials and found 3 illegal mexicans that did all of the work for cheap. Ive been working on my credit since 2020, and now its decent enough where im pre approved for a 60k loan from my bank for a vehicle, rv, or boat/trailer. F that, im gonna get a line of credit on my home and use the $ to buy others and flip them!!! And im in St. louis, Mo if anybody wanted to know... The housing market in the city limits in most areas can be had for relatively cheap considering how you aquire it... But looking on zillow or getting an agent aint the way.
