your lift tours are very entertaining. tilting windows are fun. where is 7a in relation to 7? those otis lifts are still good. please keep them. 1960s fixtures are brilliant.
An awesome set of lifts, although it looks like time is starting to catch up with them and the boring generic buttons will be everywhere soon. I like that glass lift, not seen buttons like that on an Otis before.
middle tower lift looks more broken they would not take 2 lifts off at once and it does not have the metal panels blocking it so just broken i'd say but no doubt its replacment is imminent
On the 1st modded otis lift why didnt they used original otis buttons instead of dewhurst? On the 2nd modded otis lift why didnt they put kss fixtures instead of crap dewhurst? The glass lift indicator is otis and the buttons are stannah thats kind of unusual

On priority service, you press and hold the open, close, or any of the floor buttons in order to operate the lift, it's like the fire service mode in amarica, but much easier.
Whenever I come to England, this hospital is a must-visit. Really amazing place!

I went there this week & the paternoster was switched off & there was a sign saying "Paternoster closed today for maintenance 18/11/15".
If you are stuck in staff lift you will be caught

I think that the glass lift is an otis with 70's dewhurst style thyssenkrupp buttons.

Awesome lifts apart from the modded/replaced ones
I liked how back then there were no American fixtures and Euro fixtures etc, Otis just gave everyone the same ones. Why can't it be like that now?

I filmed a otis lift at Covent Garden station going from platforms to street levels.
