- After another day of rainfall and continuously rising flood waters, Pierrefonds Boulevard partially flooded. Even despite the pumps and sandbags, only so much can be done.
In this video, I walk from Pierrefonds and Saint Jean street towards Gouin. The next video I show you the actual river and the sand barriers.
Here it was in 2017

My beautiful home town!
Keep up the coverage my friend
Will do
That was from 2019 flood coverage I hope you're going to see it again this year
I live in Pierrefonds and this is getting worst and worst, but I’m very glad that everyone is helping out and keeping hope throughout this hard situation. Thank you for all the support and the help! And thank you for this video. 👏
You're welcome!
Pat....over 5000 views.....congratulations!!
Thanks Alfred
I lived on St.John's rd in DDO up to April 2015 when I left the province in hope of finding a more tranquil life. I can't believe what I've seen both now and in 2017. But!..... I also remember late 60's and early 70's having floods in places like Roxboro, or Ile perott. In Roxboro, the water usually came up as far as Gouin off of 1st-4th ave.
My dad would take us (me and my 2 brothers) fishing in the spring and it was near impossible to gain access to the boat rental in Ile. Perott. The water always came up above the bottoms of the doors of my dad's old Pontiac when we got close to the rental place.
I agree there is great concern for global climate change but couldn't this be also partly a cycle like back then?
And I thought the maritime weather was rainy! wow.
Thank you for the great video coverage regardless of the crisis.

Wow i didn't know if happened like that back then. It would be cool to see pictures. Perhaps it is part of a cycle. Time will tell.
Hi, The images are looking much like 2017. I am familiar and need to go to and around all the areas you have been filming and it is not easy to recognize landmarks because of all the water and sand banking. I much appreciate these videos and know you are doing them in very difficult conditions. Bravo and cheers to you......Many thanks
Thank you! I am trying to cover plenty of areas.
Excellent video Dear Pat.😊😊😊
Thank you.
Thank you for the coverage. It’s helpful to see the area, as my child’s school is in the flood zone at Pierrefonds/St Jean. If you post later this weekend and can get to the grounds either from Gouin or Pierrefonds, I can share with other parents of the school.
Great work btw!
Thank you! Which school?
St-Gérard. Thanks again and stay safe throughout your weekend filming 🙂
Thank you for keep us updated about the this.
Thank you I will check it out tonight.
My pleasure
That’s is crazy
Flooding in US same. Spraying the skies constantly...
