Great playthrough as always. I'm watching this to learn more about this game, which has been vaguely on my radar for some time. In this vid you are starting to worry about the Merchant. Would it be an option to arm up and blow him up to slow him down?
It's been so long I can't remember. I think you can but he will respawn!
I know this video play through gonna cost me but I can't stop watching so I will be eagerly awaiting the next part while I order my own copy.

Another great play through. So do the spaces like Gravity not effect the NPC characters? Would be fun if that Outlaw got pushed into the nebula LOL. Also, you mentioned a few times this would "Destroy the ship" Does that end the game immediately?
Correct NPC's are not effected by gravity! If your ship is destroyed you respawn but lose some Fame I believe it is. Honestly it has been too long since I played this one!! Thanks for watching!

Which sized quiver mat is that? The 3'x4'? But actually, it looks bigger than that on camera.
You are right! The largest one, and I LOVE IT! I have been using it for a year now and it has held up great, and looks fantastic on camera. I recommend it to anyone even if the price tag is high! Do you have one?
Yes. I have one of their new versions (3'x4') (from their 2016 Kickstarter), and two of the original versions (from their 2014 Kickstarter). They're also both 3'x4', with one being a space-themed bsckground.
So with all the tiles you had out, I was hoping that'd all fit on a 3'x4' mat. Which is why I asked.
It most certainly does!! Sometimes you might have to move your galaxy around, but it fits!
This really does feel like a wide open sandbox, moreso than others games I can think of.
I know!! Part of the reason I am fine with the dice rolling is because I truly feel like I can make fame points my own way in the game. No scripting or anything!
Hmm where is your special skill card for your lvl2 ship? If I recall it correct you both keep the one from lvl1 and get a new one for the new ship? :D

I thought you had to line up the tiles based off of the tile you're located on. when you put the Burning Horse into play, you should have matched the Squares up. from what I remember from the rules.
Ahh thanks for that, I guess I assumed since it was all random it wouldn't matter much anyhow. Thanks though for saying this! I think usually I do this the right way! ha!
end of the day it's not a huge problem, the fact you're scanning makes it less of an issue. but those blind jumpers out there, we cant have them getting safe jumps :P
HAHAHA very good point!! Those blinde jumpers like to live on the edge!!
It also mattters so that the player who's puttjng down the new tile can't manipulate the location of any planetary shield openings.
Where those openings end up could make all the difference!
So how do you feel this one stacks up against other pick up and deliver sand box games?
Hmmm not sure tbh. Haven't played a ton of other pick up and deliver. But I will say this it's in my top 15 solo games because I love it so much!!
You mention that you already got the fame point when you were laying out the Samara gate but you had gotten the point from the Tigris gate. The first player to use the Tigris gate gets a point and the first player to use one of the normal gates gets a point. So you should have gotten one since you used the working gates first.
You get points for BOTH gates huh? Did not understand that, I will make a note thanks!! Just trying to make the game harder :)
Yup. On the working gates it say whoever uses a gate first gets a fame point. On the Tigris gate (broken gate) it says whoever uses the Tigris gate first gets a fame point. So 1 point for the working gates and 1 point for the broken gate. Looking foward to the next video. Hopefully getting the Tier 3 ship will help you to start getting lots of points. Love the Tier 3 engine with 2 GTS.
You are assuming that I read the tiles hahaha! I just must of mist that, thanks for letting me know! I will notate! Oh and Tier III, with 3 GTS' is where it is at :) Hahaha I may or may not have done this. . .
What does it matter to keep track of which round you're in? (8:24).

So, the quest going from the dead plant to Tig, the card said 2K Credits, but you said 1K. Am I missing something?

I was reading reviews on this game on BoardGameGeek, and the general consensus was that as a multi-player game, it feels very very slow, due to all the stuff the other player(s) can do during their turn. 1) Do you agree? 2) Do you prefer it as a solo game?
Because from watching it, it looks like a really fun game, but I could see how it could be a slow multi-player game
Oh yeah in my final thoughts I say just that. This will be solo only for me!
