Desde Los Angeles, California, con influencias de la música new wave, post punk, gótica británica y europea sus miembros fundadores, Dexy y Chris Valentine, se refieren al sonido de la banda como "lovewave". Llevan editados 2 álbumes (Aloha Moon, Jupiter), fueron remixados por The XX y Crystal Fighters además de haber girado junto a The Horrors, The Black Keys, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Raconteurs, The Wombats y The Kills.
