This one is so on time for me - - - I've been hermitting away for a few years now after a totally disastrous entanglement that sent my trust issues thru the roof. SO much in this video i needed to hear. 6 days ago i began the process of quitting marijuana, which has been my crutch for dulling my emotions for 15 years now. So much is rising to the surface and i had a totally melodramatic meltdown the other day about how isolated i've become.
Then last night i had a beautiful dream that i was alone in a cave full of water & kurt cobain's voice sang me an acoustic cover of "Enjoy the silence" by depeche mode.. ~all i ever wanted, all i ever needed, is here, in my arms~ (idk why kurt is always in my dreams). As the dream progressed i encountered one of the people who i had a falling out with 3 years ago, during that stressful time. I always felt i wanted to be able to talk to this person and apologize, but felt afraid to reach out, because i don't want to seem like i'm expecting us to be friends again. I've had many dreams where we just sort of hug it out and forgive each other. i truly don't want anything from them except for them to know i carry no ill will, so they can heal too.
the point you make about releasing the NEED for trust is SO powerful. Like seriously, thank you so much for saying that. I'm seeing things in a different light. Also pointing out that trust issues happen in the heart space & intuition is in the stomach, that totally clicks for me but i haven't heard it said like that before. Seriously, thankyou for this. Awesome, thank you! These last few readings in regards to boundaries and trust and relational dynamics have really been hitting 🙌🏼 Been working on this for a while. What I’ve been realizing recently it’s about trusting the self to have boundaries and trusting the self to use discernment. Just trusting the self period. I blamed and cut off other people a lot and then realized they didn’t do anything wrong per se, in most cases, but I a)burned by previous situations and b)wasn’t having proper literal or energetic boundaries with folks (which are the same, and not, eh?). After being isolated for years on end with no friends at all I made a new friend. ( I thought ) This woman lied to me/ghosted me when I asked her to look inside ‘to find out why she created constant drama in her life’. ( breaking a limb, mold in the house, falling from stairs, breaking dentures, being violently attacked on the street, etc etc ) This all in the two months I saw her…. Maybe I should feel blessed, but I feel betrayed. Too many expectations???

It may be true that our soul agrees to the types of experiences we have before we come here but there are things within our control and things outside of our control practically speaking. There were things outside of her control that happened to her and many people who disclose those things are looking to be met with understanding and emotional support.

Not the extent, as an objective point but rather subjective. @vidamariaixchel4962 a question for you….what within you caused her to lie to you and ghost you? If we want to tell others this is how their universe works, we have to accept this is how our universe works as well. Try to release your ill feelings about her and integrate the lesson you were trying to give yourself. Your friend was having a series of very unfortunate and traumatic events not drama. What our friends need from us is the same thing we would like from them: empathy. They’re not there to be taught lessons-they are there to be understood ❤️ and loved as they are. In the context of friendships it’s best to lead by example, and if they want to follow or join in a way of thinking they can. Also remember, if a person lies (when they aren’t just a bullshitter) sometimes the question we have to ask is “how did I make this person feel uncomfortable with being themselves?” Definitely don’t let this experience stop you from forming others-you are learning and learning is necessary ❤️ good luck.
