I literally saw them play this same song in Munich during the rain with zero fuck ups. Mistakes happen they’re not terrible just because Kirk fucked up in one concert.

I get it they were a big change in music etc but honestly that’s all just luck on time they came around they have always been mid level they just got over praised for “changing up” the music scene etc but even in that regard I can think of plenty of other heavy band who did much better then Metallica but does not excuse this

It just sounds like one of them messed up the distorted bridge riff at the beginning, and I’m gonna assume it was Kirk since James solo sounded fine to me. I couldn’t hear Kirk’s solo, but yeah maybe he needs to slow down a bit cause that’s like the easiest part of the whole song 😂 not to mention he wrote it so there’s that.

The tone wasn’t wrong. It honestly did sound like the guitar was cutting out which could just be a receiver issue since they use wireless. The techs usually fix it quickly tho.. and we can clown Lars (rightfully so) but Kirk and James are way better than that.

Their skills are degrading, and they dgaf, because the little Metallica sheep will still buy their garbage albums, and pay a fortune to see their garbage playing no matter what. At least Megadeth fans admit and laugh about Daves lack of singing ability, but the fact remains that Megadeth pride themselves on musicianship. Metallica just wants to milk another few bucks out of their brainwashed fans while seemingly putting forth as little effort as possible.
