Metrolink Ventura County Line Trains

- Metrolink's Ventura County Line began operations on Metrolink's first day of service in October of 1992. The route travels from Los Angeles Union Station north and west through the San Fernando Valley, over Santa Susana Pass, through the Simi Valley and to the Pacific Coast at Oxnard and Montalvo. In this video, we will take a look at Metrolink trains running over portions of this busy commuter rail line. Locations include Burbank, Northridge, Simi Valley, Moorpark, and Camarillo.

Awesome!!!! Metrolink’s Ventura County Line has always been my local rail line whenever I go out and see trains especially around the areas of Simi Valley, Chatsworth, and Moorpark among the rest of the places along the line. (Particularly Simi Valley…) I had no idea that it was actually one of the first lines for Metrolink to operate beginning in 1992, that’s soo cool!!!! I have and continue to make soo many memories whenever I see the many different trains along the line, and seeing how much or how little everything has changed over time. Even though the new EMD F125 locomotives are now in-service with Metrolink, not a day goes by that I don’t remember the many times I would see the older F59PH and F59PHI locomotives leading and trailing behind many of their trains!!! But either way, I always enjoy watching and filming them at the many different locations and stations along the Ventura County Line over the years!!! Great video as always Mike and Happy Halloween!!!! :)
It's my local line too. Not very long ago I saw one of their PHRs running north.

@@CoasterFan2105 I think the Hyundai-Rotem bi-level cars, should be painted, a similar scheme like the one on the F125 locomotives.

Metrolink Ventura County Line as of 2023 is still doing good. I like the Metrolink F125s but their horns dont sound so good. Classic Metrolink F59PHIs.

A few of the F59PH rebuild units are still in service. There are also a couple shots in this video that were filmed before all the other F59s were retired.
I apologize for the whole confusion yesterday. I had a dream that involved you, and wanted to sorta portray it, but I didn't want to depict you out of character. And it didn't help that I only had limited resources to do it with. I hope we were able to clear things up in the end.
