Great video. We have BBQ Korean chicken here in Vegas and we love it. I have heard the homeless rate is on a rapid rise in Gainesville. What are your thoughts about this? I know it’s actually going up everywhere pretty much so not just Gainesville.
Thanks for watching! I haven't seen any actual numbers regarding homeless. There was a recent article about the commissioners approving a pilot program to use storage containers repurposed as homes to help shelter homeless.
@@LivinginGainesvilleFlorida I would say if they are coming up with ways to house the homeless it means homelessness is on the rise and they expect it to get worse. Same thing has been happening here in Vegas for years. I guess it will happen all over this country soon enough. Very sad
lots of homeless here - panhandlers at the interstate exits and the intersections along the shopping plazas - even though there are signs saying it's illegal - and pop up tent villages along Main Street near the university
we have a Dave & Busters - which is even better than Chuck E Cheese (we used to go to Chuck E Cheese in NY and it was always full of kids who were "home sick" from school / daycare - one giant Petri dish of colds)
Tall buildings a convention center a brand new courthouse and more tall buildings like in Miami in Houston and Atlanta in West Palm in Orlando and Tampa in Jacksonville

Gainesville needs a Costco, Apple store, Pottery Barn, Shake Shack but atlesst they got a direct flight to Fort Lauderdale now.

I'd LOVE a Costco but we need more locally owned businesses - we've got way to many chains
it sucks that mom & pop restaurants are closing left and right with rents going up too high and being replaced with more chain restaurants
