You can adjust the ignition timming and tune the carb so the car runs rich not recomended tho and you will probably lose some performance

You dont need to take-out the module when installing electronic distributor? I've been trying to do it myself i cant get the spark
I just removed the old dizzy with points and condensor and installed the new electonic dizzy
It had spark before i installed the new dizzy just wasn't running good vacuum advance was shot
howzit ou. i also have a 1400 champie, it's misfiring when im driving, ive cleaned the carb amd replaced all the seals on it so its definitely not a fuel problem. what else could it be? ive also changed the plugs
Check vacuum advance on the dizzy. Had that problem on the buggy aswell

@@BruceBroCustoms Problem with the distributor time, when you're counting the sequence of your plug leads to the sparks, are they counted clockwise or anticlockwise? I've got a 4 cylinder 1800 engine
@@thobilenyaku5274 take the dizzy cap off then turn the engine and check which way the rotor moves
@@thobilenyaku5274 also make sure your engine is set to fire cyl 1 and not fire cyl 4. Firing order on 4cyl engines are usually 1-3-4-2
