Tbh that's something I've always wondered too. What exactly what a Midorima zone look like? My guess is that his fundamentals would all improve and he would be able to make his shots faster, or even while being pressured.
He gets the zone he'll shoot like curry with short duration shots cuz his form take awhile to release

@@myoldchannel0 well he got the name of the ace of all miracles. played two times against seirin, played the whole match in the movie, the only one who defeated Seirin in official game. first to show the zone, really close to kuroko, his first partner, his friend is in love with kuroko, there are lots of hints that Aomine is actually the favorite character of the author. The hype and wank are another lvl for Aomine compared to others. let's say he is the Zoro or Sasuke of this manga.

In the manga which is the original ending, Kagami stays back in japan and continues to play with seirin, they just changed it in the movie. This was one of the best games which everyone wanted to see all Generation of miracles playing together and all of them did a Great job with their contribution to the plays. Aomine and Kise turning up best moment for me and also Kuroko always my favorite player

I hate Extra Game. It contradicts the original Anime/Manga. It was stated the GOM are the greatest players of their era and that if anyone came who surprises them it wouldn’t be until the “very distant” future. Akashi and Aomine especially have their superiority complex contradicted. Akashi at least won in the end 1v1 but the fact he had to evolve to do it was cringe. How the hell was Murasakibara in base better than Zone Aomine if he went back to practicing??? Why didn’t Nash use his abilities much earlier in the game and they should have been wasting time much sooner than the last seconds of the game. And the whole seeing the future of the court and then Akashi being able to see deeper than that was stupid. In the original series the abilities were kept somewhat grounded with decent explanations
Bruh, Aomine smiling after receiving Kuroko's pass made me teary eyed. He spent so much time saying "basketball is boring" that he drifted away from the closest person to him (other than his family, of course). Getting that pass after having said I don't even remember how to receive your passes anymore" must have felt pretty good.

The animation in this game was CRAZY , also the last kagami and kuroko scene makes me cry like a baby
I wish the movie was a little longer cuz they missed out on so much opportunities like Murasakibaras Thors hammer , Kagamis Meteor jam , Kurokos overflow considering they'll never face Jabberwock again and it's a do or die match , Akashi putting his team in the Zone...and my last problem is if they really needed subs why not just give the stage to the Uncrowned kings ? Hyuga Takao and Wakamatsu ? Ffs 😂😂

Kise - zone + perfect copy
Murasakibara -playing without holding back.
Midorima - now trusts akashi too for mid air pass (seen his best play on his luckiest day).
Aomine - Finally playing as a team. And top scorer of the match.
Kuroko & kagami - the bond which they shared and that climax
This movie delivers whatever fans wanted from it.

A little fun fact: That last line Aomine and Kagami said "Die, Jabberwock" is actually a play on the fact that Vorpal Sword is the name of the sword that killed Jabberwocky.
Also a note, there's a difference between the animated movie and manga.
For one in the manga, they did actually play outside and not in the gym. And Kagami didn't leave Japan, the last few panel in the last game manga actually showed the hs teams practice and Kagami was seen with Seirin.
The best part for me, the scene wherein Aomine and Kise are in sync. That was fire🔥

@@agl4044 considering his special ability, his skill, and what he's doing I don't think they really nerfed his stamina. Multiple miracles commented on how they felt tired while using their abilities. Even Kuroko made call to that. Now you have somebody who's using all their abilities at once of course the stamina would run out.

Yep, calling asian people monkeys or "Yellow monkeys" was a racial slur in the past (just like for black people). I think they made the villains american not necessarily for some personal feeling toward americans, but because America is the best country at basket ball and that's it. The disrespect probably come from some of the bad reputation that street ball can have. (And of course, it's an easy way for the viewer to hate the villain).

Nahhh. My dad's side of the family is Japanese and I've done a lot of looking into how Japanese people view Americans and tbh most of them have no problem with us. The opposite, in fact, most of them find Americans to be joyful and fun. Maybe some of the elderly population has some resentment, but Japan and America these days are really friendly allies.

It's unrealistic. The stamina burn is insane to keep that up for longer than a few minutes let alone a quarter.
But Kise can turn that sht up anytime he wants so he will be absolutely unstoppable within its duration.
He can copy things in the physical world , he can't copy Akashi's Mind ...

After Kagami was picked by Chicago Bulls, then Aomine also went to US and picked by Cavaliers, Akashi to Lakers, Kise to Warriors, Midorima to Celtics, Kuroko to Spurs and Murasakibara to Suns.

I love this movie because they kept the vibe of the show.
In the show (especially in the beginning) Kagami wasn't on the level of the generation of miracles yet so he needed his team (Specifically Kuroko's support) to match them and win.
Jabberwock's players (especially Nash and Silver) are above them in skill as individual players but for the most part their teamwork sucks, so they lost.
At the end of the day it's a team sport.

The only thing I think that was missing from this movie was Kuroko's Quasi-Emperor Eye.
They should’ve made Kagami in the NBA series anime. A lot of foreign Asians besides Yao Ming haven’t made a difference. Two Europeans have and it’s a good thing. As a black man, I think other nations have other skill sets to beat us in games.
That was a fantastic game! They're on fire! Gave me some motivation to face more challenges in this life.

@@MonicaHolly143 No. I can agree that story and character wise, they are not similar, or that one is better than the other, but to say that KnB's characters and story are not even close to Slam Dunk, in terms of writing, is just ridiculous. This is coming from a guy who grew up watching Slam Dunk btw..
And KnB is just good because of their unrealistic abilities? No. One of, if not KnB's greatest strength is its characters, especially the GoM and also their teams, not just the main team. Story wise, it's very different from SD, because SD is about a troublesome guy who eventually finds his passion in basketball, while in KnB, it's about a powerless/incapable guy who wants to prove his type of basketball to his former unbeatable prodigy teammates. Both have very good plot tbh..
