  • On Feb. 8, 2024, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral argument in a case that will likely determine if Donald Trump is eligible for office following the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to disqualify him from the state’s ballot under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. Marc and Paige break down the central questions in this case and give an update on some of Trump's legal troubles.

SCROTUS is part of that coup this year. SCROTUS decided FLorida in 2000, they'll decide every single state a Republican goes running to them about "Shady Ballots", all it will take is the SCROTUS ruling on 1 or 2 key states, like I'm sure the Republicans and the SCROTUS are planning on doing, because they're being far to open and blatant about every evil thing they're doing, as if they' don't care that they're losing voters because they feel they don't need them.

WHY is everyone ignoring the second reason defined in Section 3 of the 14th Amendment?
"OR given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof."
They PERSONALLY do not have to be charged with anything, just SUPPORTING them disqualifies him.
If already saying that he will grant pardons to the CONVICTED Domestic Terrorists that attacked the Capital Building on January 6th, 2021, DOESN'T qualify as "given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof" what the Hell would?

    • @apricity69

Every reporter should ask Trump how granting pardons convicted insurrectionists wouldn’t be providing aid and comfort to them.
If re-elected, Trump would become instantly ineligible the moment he pardons a convicted insurrectionist. Section 3 of the 14th says “no person shall be” nor “hold”. It’s not only restricted to who is on the ballot. It restricts who holds the office.

The Merriam Webster clearly defines the word “SUPPORT” as “to uphold or DEFEND as valid or right”. Are the courts going to claim that Merriam is wrong? Furthermore, Merriam defines “officer” as Chief Executive Officer” which is partly defined by another source as “Chief executive OFFICERS (CEOs), who are also known by titles such as executive director, managing director, or PRESIDENT…..” How much more clearer does this need to be known?

The supreme court needs to stand on its foundation and Not flonder here. Stand up and stand in. Upholding our very foundation.

I would really like to see a video that looks into those 3 amicus briefs. What are there arguments? What does it say about the thinking of Trump's lackeys?

Thanks for clearing up in 5 seconds the convoluted plot of lost. To this day I have never finished this show, and has always wondered what the point was.

The corrupt Court will give him a pass. Isn’t it obvious? They have proved their contempt for settled law.

I certainly hope that SCOTUS will rule correctly & keep our democracy intact. I still remember Kavanaugh's rude responses during the Senate hearings, his emotional cry-babying & "I like beer". He demonstrated that he did not belong on SCOTUS. He was hand-picked by Stinky for such a time as this. I certainly hope he has matured by now & will uphold our Constitution.

I foresee anything from 6-3 in favor of Trump to 5-4 against. Will be very surprised if they definitively block him country-wide.

Question… Can the US Supreme Court judges be disqualified if they support and give aid or comfort to an insurrectionist?
It does state “in any office”
Surely the Constitution applies to them as well!

Yup the last episode as far as I can remember, is in a church and they are waiting for the last soul to realise he is dead... So long ago, was a stupid ending.

I love your videos and your appearances with Brian. I have a question for your legal mind. Since the president is commander in chief, why could not a military tribunal put Trump on trial for dereliction of duty for his inaction during the insurrection?
