I've often thought the same watching Thai or Vietnamese girls doing massages, ear cleaning etc on tourists in video's on You tube: the skirts are so extremely short, but maybe it's hot or they get more tips like that or the owner wants it,, who knows.

A lot of these services are aimed at male clients, though females are free to make use of these services as well. The uniforms often subtly reflect that. Sometimes, it's less subtle.
If you look up other Vietnamese barber shop videos, you'll notice the patterns. One even had an interview while a female client was being attended, and the barber explained several things about how these businesses operate.

Must be tricky to perform massages in such a short dress, but I do notice that a lot of Vietnamese barber shop staff dress similarly. I guess it's to satisfy their main client base?

I don’t mind ear cleaning, I actually find the proper doctor ones fascinating!
This barber type puts me on edge though, if either person so much as breathes to deep, she’s got a perforated eardrum, possibly hearing loss, possibly permanent.
It’s the danger that ruins it for me, especially when the person getting it done laughs/giggles, cringes away, tenses up etc.
Ass sudden movements that can cause permanent damage and hearing damage!

Her outfit is unprofessional, and the ear treatment would worry me because once the ear drums are touched with those instruments, the damage is done. Plus, she doesn't have gloves on, and I didn't see any sterilization happening before her using them. The massage looked like it was relaxing.
