Permissions were obtained by the crew to film in all locations associated with this series. No animals were injured, killed, or removed from their natural habitat in the filming of this program and instances where animals are brought to the scene are clearly acknowledged in the video. One good thing I think would be good is to always remind people in your videos to wash your hands very thoroughly if you are going to be handling any type of wild animal. • @borttorbbq2556
      @borttorbbq2556 Před 2 lety +149

      They already said. Many animals can but it depends how they've adapted. Isopods have thicker harder shells than most of their smaller kin. But it really is about how quickly they're pulled up same with many prawns and shrimp. It just really depends. Most deep sea animals can be brought up slowly and survive but the softer the out sides the harder it is. For example angler fish will die but some squid and even sperm whales can basically move freely from very deep to very shallow. Admittedly very very deep where oxygen and light are at the lowest you basically only hardshell animals like crabs clams and isopods can be brought up but again it has to be stupidly slow. (Like it could takes days to weeks to successfully do it otherwise they get the bends or get exygen poisoning. Why fisherman tend to not bring up many deep sea fish still alive

      This is the second time I have been almost speechless about what we are doing until we are back to full-speed. Last yr, a man trained wasps to come to him at his bidding. This year, a man tempts a formidable creature to bite him. I am a little sad about this. Thank you, though, for divulging that he wasn't bit. Glad about that. Edit: now I can block him! Glad he didn't get bit, but I don't want to see him pull another stunt like this.

      Seems like it should be darker for them if they naturally live in the dark. Maybe use a blacklight because they would glow. They are creepy imo, but they seem nice enough and have a job to do (cleaning up dead stuff from the bottom of the sea) and just chilling. They remind me of the ones that replace fish tougnes (which are also isopods i believe).

Even giants like the blue whale needs to actually go up to swallow some good ol krills, so I'd severely doubt there's something bigger than that if it stays down there and is alive.
