This is probably my favorite animation of Eggman. He enjoys the chase and has a brilliant personality. Even though he’s tyrannical, there’s also an underlying sense of kindness. And the little detail of him cracking like an egg when he realizes Tails is invincible is hysterical! This is honestly some stellar work!
To counteract against miraculous return of Tails, which is for him out of any rational and possible explanation in scientific way, Eggman himself cracked like an egg.
Eggman: "bro... Sonic is evil!"

Atleast it made me laugh now
Despite Eggman being a villain he still said to tails "Hey Tails, I'm sure your gonna be ok" expecting that sonic would come and save tails before the laser zapped him. Even when Sonic didn't come he still bursted out into legit tears because of it.
He may be a villain but he still has a heart.
I agree with you, If Maria was watching this, she would've been happy and proud to know that her family member like Dr. Eggman was actually a caring person even though he was a villian.

Sonic has let you die thousands of times and you have killed yourself for him multiple times for him and what does he do. He just let's you die again and again for him hell he has even killed you many times when he discovered your ability to always come back
actually you said it wrong. he took the concept from classic games, so each time tails dies, he just respawns and flies back to sonic. he doesnt have a life limit

For a minute I thought Sonic was actually was going to let Tail get killed, but I forgot that even if he dies, he can respawn back. I'm pretty sure Tail has some lifepoints or probably has some plot main character armor that doesn't let him die. Other then that, I do like Eggman being an honest and caring villain when he was worried about Tails being killed by his own machine. Maybe this prove that this Dr. Eggman isn't heartless like the other Dr. Eggman from different Sonic Dimensions. I think Maria would've been so proud of him for being caring.. Wouldn't you agree?

i agree allsio eggmans only truly evil in the movie dimension the other eggmans arnt but i get the confusion since in the classic dimension usally they dont even fight classic eggman and instead fight the movie one as for eggmans seem to travel espessaly movie eggman i guess 🤨

Originally it was a physical death.
There was weapons that damaged the body and tails body splattered into pieces and there was alot o' blood. Now they had to redo it so it could be "safer" for kids.
