Restore Faded Vehicle Plastic Trim - Permanent Fix with Spray Paint on Lexus RX 350

A number of my vehicles had faded and weather/sun damaged plastic exterior trim. Some products will improve old black vehicle trim appearance. Although, effects are temporary. Opting for a fix that lasts many years, I spray painted my trim. In order to save time, I did not even remove the trim from the vehicles before applying paint. I taped around the trim, protected the surrounding vehicle with plastic, and applied three coats of paint. Some plastics might require sanding to promote primer/paint adhesion. The result was trim that appeared completely brand new. Results have already lasted for years. The fix was effective and well worth the less than 20 minutes invested.
