- My husband and I found some cute things at a couple of yard sales we stopped at on Sunday - PLUS - a tour of the shop all decked out for Spring!!

*Rachel, your blue and white covered dish at **4:20** is a piece from 1996 from Home and Garden Party. I used to sell Home and Garden Party and that piece sold for $26.00 new and I also own that piece❣️🤍💙 If I remember correctly, it had a vented lid so you could put potpourri inside with essential oils to make your home smell fresh.*

I was the office manager, but I did manage to sneak down on occasion to do some arts and crafts with our residents, lol!! I hope to visit Ireland one day - it is on my bucket list!! Thanks again!! :)

Thanks so much for the tour! I love the blue and white! I did a thrift haul a couple weeks ago where I show a massive amount of blue and white that I found and then last week I did a video where I redid the decor in our family room using so,e of the blue and white.

We were able to sell a sewing box like that as is, after repairing a wonky leg. We figured we would have to bring it home and paint it, but it sold! As to Asian items, I am on board, but we were given some, had thrifted some, an I had a cloisonné lamp, so we currently have an Asian theme on a tabletop. Loved your shop tour! Bet you had some restocking to do after the event!
I just might end up trying to sell the sewing stand as is for a bit while I work on some other things, lol. We will see what happens! Thank you so much!

Hi Rachel, love the sewing stand. Have any idea how old it is? Did you Google lens it? It’s amazing the drawers were still inside. As I’ve said before…If I lived near your store I’d be in at least once a month. Very eclectic and I love eclectic. Glad you and the hubby rested a bit on Sunday. You need to take time e for your self. It’s a healthy thing to do. 💕🐞🐞🐞

Rachel, my favorite was the Thomas Kinkade picture. I would buy that piece as is. Will have to see what you decide to do with it. My 2nd favorite was the sewing stand. Can't wait to see what you do. The 1st vase you showed that is on a frosted stem is going to be perfect for the fall. (frost on the grass, frost on the stem) Love all your blue and white pieces. The Cottage just draws a person in. I would love to spend hours there just looking at everything inside and then head out to the nursery. Fun seeing the store. Quick question, are the stained glass actually stained glass and are they for sale? There are so many very cool things to see. I am glad but also sorry that you and your husband were so exhausted on Sunday. Sure hope you can catch up on some of your sleep and have a chance to relax a bit. Very cute haul! Love the blue & white. Rachel what is your secret to NO BRUSH STROKES? I've tried spritzing with water and it does help some.
Thank you! And a synthetic brush with soft bristles definitely helps, but in all honesty I still get brush strokes with the clay based paint a lot of the time and I just use a fine grit sand paper and lightly sand where I can to knock them down a bit. :)
