Imma be real. I have been modelling for over 30 years, so I don't get a lot of new info, or techniques from youtubers, even BMC. I watch the vids for inspiration or just entertainment value. But this series has been VERY inspiring. The floor mat roads are a gawdamn holy grail for me. I can't wait to make some. I even thought, I bet I could do rivers too.

I feel like Jeremy’s construction background gives him a way of looking at things differently that a lot of people in the community haven’t been exposed to. Being in the construction industry makes you have to learn to adapt and think outside of the box on a regular basis. It also expose’s you to working with a lot of different materials and techniques.
I’ve been around and in the construction industry my entire life and in every capacity from diy to handyman to being licensed in multiple trades and even state codes official. I can’t stress how much this has benefited me after discovering TTRPGs and terrain building. It’s also probably the reason that BMC is my favorite channel for fresh ideas, I connect because of our shared backgrounds.

Little tip for my fellow crafters out there: if you can't find exactly the same stuff used in the video, that's okay! Try some things and make it up as you go! It might not yield exactly the same result but all that matters is that you get a result you are happy with. I've found that half the fun in this hobby is trying weird stuff and finding out if it works or not. Have fun with it!
