Aneurysm case planned for a flow diverter

Tortuosity of the parent vessel can make a regular Neurointervention case a complicated one. The challenge is to have stable distal access in these cases, which makes all the difference in technical outcomes. This was one such aneurysm case planned for a flow diverter in which we had to change and take a long sheath across the loop in the ICA to stabilise the guiding catheter. To me, “access is the key“.
