    There is a study that shows the participants who think compression clothes work, they work, the ones who don't think they work, they don't. It shows placebo effects.

      As you probably already know, the validity of a scientific study can be severely flawed. It can also be politically manipulated. There is no science on cannibals (U.S. studies), but millions of people testify it works nonetheless.

      Imo it’s not. You don’t have to get the best of the best for like $200. You can just get some Nike ones for $20 max. I never new why, but they do reduce soreness and it just feels like it gets the muscles working better. Maybe it’s placebo but I was feeling that before I knew about the science behind it.

      @@liveandlearn901 First, Nike has 60% of the athletic apparel industry (far more than all the other top brands combined), so spread your consumer dollars around. Remember, when one company dominates, they control everything.
      Second, there is a correlation between cost and performance particularity when it comes to compression -- and other specialty -- gear. I agree, you don't always have to pay super high prices to get good quality merchandize, but true compression gear isn't cheap.
