    I just went through this with my 2007 Frontier. It did not go well. Once I installed them my tail lights malfunctioned. The signal and the brake lights worked fine. The running lights would not come on after installation. These may work for newer trucks with LEDs. I had a bad experience wit the older truck. Those cargo lights did work but while installed the brake lights only worked when actuated. They would not laminate when the the truck lights were turned on. I later installed an in line resister. It then started blowing fuses so I went ahead and reversed installation. When I took those LED bulbs out and put in the stock bulbs, everything went back to normal. Inside the cab everything works good. No problem with the LEDs that installed inside the cab.

      @Shawps thank you for you for sharing your knowledge/experience. Hopeful others with the older model frontiers will see this!
      Thanks for watching.

    I replace the cargo with Auxito and nine months later they were flickering like crazy, so yanked them and replaced with a different brand. Not impressed. For the center brake I used a PUTCO plasma bulb.

      Yeah, I had to replace my Auxito lights a few time from the flickering issue. So far the newest ones I’ve used have lasted for almost a year now.
      I’m glad you found something better that is working for you!

    The new 22 Frontiers still need LEDs in the cargo/third light. Added all three auxitos after watching this video. Easy and definitely brighter than halogen 👍😎

    I do like the video. I believe it’s for a newer model truck though.

    Do you use the same 3rd brake light bulb for the rear brake left and right light bulbs? Thanks

    • @gainingaltitude1562
      @gainingaltitude1562  Před 2 lety

      @JamesNokham the left and right brake lights require different bulbs, the bulbs I installed will not work for the tail lights.
      Also, I never changed out the rear left and right brake lights as they are pretty bright already (They are Stock bulbs). Thanks for checking out the video!

    hos is the auxito holding up?

      They are holding up nicely no flickering of any kind. They withstood 2 trips from Texas to California, and for the price I would definitely recommend them.
