2000 Infiniti i30 - crank no start

A bad installation can lead to frustation and lots of unnessary repair bills. The customer was suggested the ECM was bad, so he bought an used ECM, called me to reprogram it and hoped that would fix the problem. This customer had already spent over $600 before I got into this game. As usual, the ECM is not the cause for the crank no start.

Good find. That brand jump starter is usually a really good one. Hopefully they warrantied it. If it's out of warranty they used to offer one battery replacement for $10-20.

Can you identify the location of the body control module for an Infinity I30 circa 1999? I believe it is on right ( passenger) side of footwell below the glovebox . Is that correct?
