I doubt that he's moving faster than light because 1. That would mean he's time traveling and 2. It would mean no one can see him. He's probably moving faster than they can perceive him, because as the god of speed he's probably always moving.

Just wanna put out there, since I'm seeing a lot of people calling me out for being inaccurate regarding how fast Savitar can go, note that I did this video in an attempt to show the speed he's capable of in a specific instance. I even say that it's not his top speed in the video. This video is made for those interested in getting some kind of number for a specific instance.
Yeah but maybe further research into the topic and tv show might have brought up the fact that the actual numbers are much higher and maybe if you mentioned maybe a definite number,such as Mach 13, which savitar is faster than, so many might not have been triggered. This video is very accurate if it is judged by the clip present in the video alone but considering all the other factors, maybe another rough estimate from research from the TV shows or comics could have been slotted in to enlighten us to higher accuracy.
Savitar Barry is moving at least at mach 13.2 if you do the math. I would say even if Savitar does somekind of teleporting, he needs to move at least for times faster, if the speed force is the actusl distance between two places and just protects him from friction, he hast to be about ten times faster, that would enable him to run about 27 miles in a second. And in season two when he had to jump over a bridge, he instantaneously got to Mach 2.2 which is much faster than Savitar's preferred travelling speed. I think the ratio of savitar's speed to flash's speed is probably about the same ratio as the flash's speed is to a normal human being's speed. Because the very first time savitar appears, barry runs and tries to punch him, but you can see the video in slow motion and see that barry's fist has barely moved and savitar has already ducked it and is running around the room. Barry's fist is still in the same position when savitar circles back and slams into him. It is similar to what happens when a non speedster tries to punch barry (there are exceptions). The non speedster's fist would be in the same position while barry runs around him and punches him while the non speedster is still halfway throwing his punch. What do you think?
SOOO inaccurate!! Basically, a normal human sees the The Flash as a blur, but does not see Savitar at all. The Flash however, sees Savitar as a blur. In a way, Barry is a regular human compared to Savitar (If Barry is a regular human, Savitar would be a somewhat slow speedster). Barry for example probably runs at Mach 6 regularly (surely he can go faster just never actually needs to) Mach 6 = 4603.61 mph. A regular human can run at 15 mph. Meaning Flash can run at about 306 times faster than a human. But now if Barry is somewhat the human when compared to Savitar, 4603 * 102 = 469506 or Mach 611. Maybe that is too fast because I doubt Barry will ever reach that speed anytime soon and he probably needs to get even faster than Savitar to defeat him.

I know this is a bit old, but I'm going to say that if you were to become the flash, the friction proof suit would counteract the air particles around you. Which is another reason why he doesn't get torn to shreds, but if you were to wear a mask like Zoom's or wear what Savitar has on, you wouldn't have that effect at all, because he's wearing a huge suit of armor.

i mean barrys chosen speed usually in the CW is around 700 so that he doesn't break the sound barrier, he is more that capable of moving a lot faster. In the CW people have estimated barrys top speed to be around mach 11

This happens when Grod mine controls joe and makes joe pull out a gun and put it to his head around 5 cm away. and Barry is roughly standing a about 5ft away. Now the muzzle velocity of the gun that joe has( SIG-Sauer P228) is 1500 ft per second or 457 m/s. so if we do some basic physics and use the formula d=1/2(V1+V2)t and rearranged for t we will find that the bullet will reach Joes head in 0.0002 seconds. so that mean Barry has to cover a distance of 5ft(1.5 m) in 0.0002 seconds. so then we use the formula V=d/t and we find that Barry move at 7500 m/s or just 50 m/s below Mach 22.
Barry could run like 9600 mph per hour, it was told that Savitar is teleporting, then you can determine it by the eyes' perception of teleporting, average people are like 0.2 seconds, so savitar ran across the city in about 0.2 seconds.

It may be right, but remember that Savitar uses the travels through the Speed Force to travel to place almost instantaneously. In the comic Flash the Human Race we can see the flash travel using the speed force faster than a plank instant when he races a cosmic gambler back to earth. Plus this is just beginning Savitar's stride. For a speedster the more you run the faster your speed increases within that stride.

KLyfe, I would absolutely love to see a video regarding how Scarecrow's fear gas would work and what it's composition would be. I've thought about this quite a bit myself. In traditional depictions, Fear Gas is an aerosol spray that causes the victim to experience terrifying, debilitating hallucinations. Right off the bat, we know it has to contain some kind of powerful hallucinogen. We also know it has to specifically trigger adrenal glands in someway, though I don't know how this would be. Also on that matter, I don't have a reason for why the subject will experience horrible fear rather than awesome courage. I suppose the environment has to be just right to trigger a "bad trip", perhaps this is why Scarecrow wears such a spooky costume? It's simply a means to inspire terror in the victims while they're under the influence of the drug. I'm sure the Gothic architecture and nighttime setting of Gotham would also cause the victim to suffer some pretty severe hallucinations (I believe when people are on mushrooms they'll freak out when around large buildings, let alone a city that looks as if "Hell exploded through pavement and kept going." I also remember in one episode of Batman the Animated Series when Scarecrow developed a version of the drug that actually inspired awesome courage rather than fear. I think this could've been the result of decreased hallucinogens and an administering of the drug in a more relaxed setting. I guess the main issues for this idea are "What triggers the flight/fight response? or adrenal glands", "What hallucinogens can be put in an aerosol", "What keeps the subject from just dying after taking this massive drug cocktail", and "Can the gas trigger specific hallucinations rather than just general scary things (sometimes the people under the effects of the drug will experience their greatest fear)?" I'd also love to see how the Joker's Toxin works, as that one makes significantly less sense to me. Specific facial paralysis in the form of a grin, pale skin, blood from the eyes, and near instant death? No idea.
The TV doesnt actually show realistically how fast the speedsters run. If they showed Barry running at an accurate spped, all you would see is a blur, so thjey slow him down in animation to make the shots of barry running easier to make
Barry's regular speed in one of the season 2 episodes was 1,500 mph, keep in mind he went faster than that with T Particle enhancer he went 3-4 times faster than his regular speed of 1,500.
barry is mach 28 by the end of season 2 and savitar is able to move so much faster that barry sees him as a streak when he is running also he was able to go fast enough to open up breaches in miliseconds to get to dozens of different places around the city in a couple of seconds so i would estimate him being at least mach 40

I don't think this is exact but i am pretty sure in comparison to the flash savitar runs close to the speed of light hence creating another dimension while running around the city. barry is now so fast bullets dont really move for him, but savitar comes in and barry sees hims as a bolt of lightning, and in the time it takes him to go 3 steps savitar does a full loop of him and then goes to kick him.
the thing with wally is that he is developing faster so hes reached mach 2 in a few weeks that took barry a year to do but hes still like 15 times slower than barry but hes getting faster quicker.
the reason the video is incorrect due to the change in perspective from real time to barrys perception to savitar's perception like when savitar was carrying barry around it was like a half minute scene for us and we only seen 4 locations but inuniverse Savitar reached dozens of locations in a second (barry even said it was almost instantaneous). so the half second of film could be like a millionth of second in real time plus the use of catlins powers really gave him a slower speed as well.
it would have made more sense to use the scene when barry ran to savitar and savitar did a loop of him, since that scence was in Savitar's perspective and barry was as slow for him as a bullet is for season 3 barry you could use a ratio. barry is about 13times faster than the average bullet so savitar is about 13times faster than barry clocking him in around 260,000-290,000mph savitar goes aprox mach 360 where barry goes mach 25 and wally goes mach 2 atm

You Siád this was the speed at which he likes to travel. In season 1 episode 1 flash got to 800mph. And in season two when he had to jump over a bridge, he instantaneously got to Mach 2.2 which is much faster than Savitar's preferred travelling speed. They make savitar slow so that we can see him, or else there would even be a frame with him in it when he escaped.
i'm not denying the math and applaud your effort but savitar is way faster than that since barry in season 1 was pulling out speeds faster, if you watch the show you know that they often change perception multiple times in a scene so a second in our time could be like a tenth of a second for the characters the best example of this is when savitar first appears he starts off being a bolt of light for barry in our time and then proceeds to be a speedster figure with the light trails but clearly faster than barry but the time on the show slows for this to happen. what im saying is that you dont know what perspective is represented here that half a second could actually be a tenth or a millionth we don't know.
savitar remains invisible for any non-speedster, and at his fastest so far remains a bolt of light for barry that by barry own admission carried him so fast it was almost instantaneous from one place to the next, and this is the fastest barry's ever been, he beat zoom who was a velocity 9 speedster that had previously taken barrys tachyon enhanced speed. zoom was 5 times faster than barry early in season 2 putting him around 8000-10,000mph then he took barrys enhanced speed which is around 4xs faster than his fastest in season 2 around 12,000mph combining them puts zoom around 22,000mph and barry left the speed force matching if not beating that.
this increase in speed is also shown in a scene in the invasion crossover where bullets are completely stationary for him where he struggled to catch 3 in season 2, despite this increase savitar comes in and barry can barely perceive him and he can literally run rings around him in the time it takes barry to go a few steps savitar ran a full loop around him. i take that aforementioned bullet scene as a reference barry is as slow to Savitar as bullets are to season 3 barry.
and that is not including the speedforce thing he does which according to the map and cisco was almost as though he was in multiple places at once which is faster than light speeds which also serves to show my perception point, that scene where Savitar is carrying barry around is several seconds long for us and we only see 3 or 4 locations where the map shows he visits dozens of others in less than a second meaning those several seconds were probably millionths of a second if not less in in-universe.

I think that black tunnel Savitar runs through is Barry's perception of the earth around him while he is moving faster than the speed of light. Since he is traveling faster than light, he can't see it, making Savitar able to run mach 880991, or 186,000 mi/sec. That's about 669600000 mph

I think the ratio of savitar's speed to flash's speed is probably about the same ratio as the flash's speed is to a normal human being's speed.
Because the very first time savitar appears, barry runs and tries to punch him, but you can see the video in slow motion and see that barry's fist has barely moved and savitar has already ducked it and is running around the room. Barry's fist is still in the same position when savitar circles back and slams into him.
It is similar to what happens when a non speedster tries to punch barry (there are exceptions). The non speedster's fist would be in the same position while barry runs around him and punches him while the non speedster is still halfway throwing his punch. What do you think?
SOOO inaccurate!! Basically, a normal human sees the The Flash as a blur, but does not see Savitar at all. The Flash however, sees Savitar as a blur. In a way, Barry is a regular human compared to Savitar (If Barry is a regular human, Savitar would be a somewhat slow speedster). Barry for example probably runs at Mach 6 regularly (surely he can go faster just never actually needs to) Mach 6 = 4603.61 mph. A regular human can run at 15 mph. Meaning Flash can run at about 306 times faster than a human. But now if Barry is somewhat the human when compared to Savitar, 4603 * 102 = 469506 or Mach 611. Maybe that is too fast because I doubt Barry will ever reach that speed anytime soon and he probably needs to get even faster than Savitar to defeat him.

I know this is a bit old, but I'm going to say that if you were to become the flash, the friction proof suit would counteract the air particles around you. Which is another reason why he doesn't get torn to shreds, but if you were to wear a mask like Zoom's or wear what Savitar has on, you wouldn't have that effect at all, because he's wearing a huge suit of armor.

when barry was training jesse he chose to run at mach 3 which is 3675 km/h and if savitar "chooses" to run at 864 mph he would be running at 1390.47 km/h or mach 1.13, but in the tv show he is appr almost 5x times faster than barry.

Barry has ran in the latest episode at Mach 22. This happens when Grod mine controls joe and makes joe pull out a gun and put it to his head around 5 cm away. and Barry is roughly standing a about 5ft away. Now the muzzle velocity of the gun that joe has( SIG-Sauer P228) is 1500 ft per second or 457 m/s. so if we do some basic physics and use the formula d=1/2(V1+V2)t and rearranged for t we will find that the bullet will reach Joes head in 0.0002 seconds. so that mean Barry has to cover a distance of 5ft(1.5 m) in 0.0002 seconds. so then we use the formula V=d/t and we find that Barry move at 7500 m/s or just 50 m/s below Mach 22.
Barry could run like 9600 mph per hour, it was told that Savitar is teleporting, then you can determine it by the eyes' perception of teleporting, average people are like 0.2 seconds, so savitar ran across the city in about 0.2 seconds.

It may be right, but remember that Savitar uses the travels through the Speed Force to travel to place almost instantaneously. In the comic Flash the Human Race we can see the flash travel using the speed force faster than a plank instant when he races a cosmic gambler back to earth. Plus this is just beginning Savitar's stride. For a speedster the more you run the faster your speed increases within that stride.

Once Savitar actually left his speed force prison, he wasn't as fast as he appeared to be earlier. Barry Actually looked like he was doing a half decent job at fighting back at one point.
KLyfe, I would absolutely love to see a video regarding how Scarecrow's fear gas would work and what it's composition would be. I've thought about this quite a bit myself.
In traditional depictions, Fear Gas is an aerosol spray that causes the victim to experience terrifying, debilitating hallucinations. Right off the bat, we know it has to contain some kind of powerful hallucinogen. We also know it has to specifically trigger adrenal glands in someway, though I don't know how this would be. Also on that matter, I don't have a reason for why the subject will experience horrible fear rather than awesome courage.
I suppose the environment has to be just right to trigger a "bad trip", perhaps this is why Scarecrow wears such a spooky costume? It's simply a means to inspire terror in the victims while they're under the influence of the drug. I'm sure the Gothic architecture and nighttime setting of Gotham would also cause the victim to suffer some pretty severe hallucinations (I believe when people are on mushrooms they'll freak out when around large buildings, let alone a city that looks as if "Hell exploded through pavement and kept going."
I also remember in one episode of Batman the Animated Series when Scarecrow developed a version of the drug that actually inspired awesome courage rather than fear. I think this could've been the result of decreased hallucinogens and an administering of the drug in a more relaxed setting.
I guess the main issues for this idea are "What triggers the flight/fight response? or adrenal glands", "What hallucinogens can be put in an aerosol", "What keeps the subject from just dying after taking this massive drug cocktail", and "Can the gas trigger specific hallucinations rather than just general scary things (sometimes the people under the effects of the drug will experience their greatest fear)?"
I'd also love to see how the Joker's Toxin works, as that one makes significantly less sense to me. Specific facial paralysis in the form of a grin, pale skin, blood from the eyes, and near instant death? No idea.
The TV doesnt actually show realistically how fast the speedsters run. If they showed Barry running at an accurate spped, all you would see is a blur, so thjey slow him down in animation to make the shots of barry running easier to make

I don't think this is exact but i am pretty sure in comparison to the flash savitar runs close to the speed of light hence creating another dimension while running around the city. This is also why he can't be seen by regular people since he is so fast he is vibrating faster than the human eye can see hence speedsters can only see him.
