I have no idea (since I don't arm wrestle). Even if a person knows how to properly protect their arm with positioning, sometimes that isn't enough. Just wanna be in tune with yourself as best you can I'd say. Take it slow and easy on Mr Leftie for sure. Maybe take a break from leftie and make it feel better with weight training first, and then start wrestling with Mr Leftie.
If it doesn't at least feel right, then you won't be able to do nearly as much with it as you could be. Which might be totally fine within reason (depends on the individual and why they armwrestle).
I was surprised when I found out that arm wrestling is not just focused on one arm only.. which is good for the sport and lefties. But I feel like I couldn't do shittt with my left arm lol.
