Been preaching about the GCloud for a while now and glad to see you give some props. Supports ALL remote play options, cloud options, good for emulation and the battery lasts forever. Good stuff again!
How do you emulate on it?

@@GamerHeavenOfficial You can use Daijisho to run RetroArch on it apparently
@@GamerHeavenOfficialSame as any other Android device. I use RetroArch to emulate anything from NES through N64 and PSP. Use standalone emulators for PS2 and GameCube. Even some Switch games can be emulated pretty well on GCloud.
@GamerHeavenOfficial play store has all your emulators, gamecube and ps2 is alright. But dreamcast/psp down is really good

Cool review, I like the Gcloud alot for geforce now, remote play on my xbox, xcloud, android games, and emulation. Side note: the wall of controllers is awesome
I think a software update provided software adjustment for the thumbstick dead zones.
They are still some huge gappers
Bought mine in December and I love it. I installed some emulators and Daijisho and works like a charm.

I have an Ally and a G Cloud and I love them both. They do different things better than each other and they make portable gaming 100 percent perfect for me.
I’ve been having issues with the g cloud thumbsticks and am returning it. How are the Ally’s?
Looking to sell and replace my ROG Ally aside from the Steam Deck the G Cloud has always caught my attention, I use cloud on my Ally and while it doesn’t run perfect all the time I still get a great experience
I'm pretty sure my cloud came with a charger. Wonder if they are trying to save and bring the price down? 200 steal 250 pushing it still imo. But super comfortable in the hand and battery for days literally
would've been nice to see the native and emulation side of the cloud explored. emulating older games is one chapter where it really shines.
Love my G Cloud. I have both the Steam Deck and GCloud and I use the Steamdeck when it's something that runs great locally on it and the cloud when it's something demanding I would rather stream.

You have some weird sounds in your audio. I'm not sure if it's the pop filter not working or if I'm hearing your mouth move. But just thought I'd let you know.
Worth mentioning that the primary reason Microsoft and Sony can sell their hardware at a loss is because they get a percentage of every single game purchased for their respective platforms. Valve can do this as well for the same reason (with Steam purchases). Logitech lacks any such revenue stream that is intrinsically tied to costumers buying their hardware.

Sticks have dead zone adjustments in the options you can tinker with. Don’t use the Xbox or PlayStation apps. They are both limited to 720p with shitty bit rates to boot. XBXPlay and PSPlay fixes those issues using 1080p AND high bit rates. Price, sometimes you can snag it at $249 brand new.
Unfortunately the Xbox app has the best input latency for wanting to play a game that requires quick inputs

Logitech G Cloud is so underrated. The price is just too much. Still love mine though.
I like the PS Portal and use it all the time. I'd pick one of these up for GamePass immediately if it were at $150.

It would be amazing if steam got into streaming. Steamlink is awesome, but what if you are out of town and no one is home to turn on your pc? I want one of these bad, just still wishing for "steamcast" to show up to the party.

@MrMartellSincere I mean, it's a 6800u device that's a pc handheld first attempt from a company that had never done one before, and it came out when everyone else was selling 7840u models for a pretty similar price. It was always pretty clear it wasn't gonna be a success.
Imo the Loki Zero was the most interesting product in the lineup because it was so cheap with great ergonomics and build quality.
But if Ayn learns lessons from it and does a Loki 2, well, the Odin 2 proves pretty well that the company can adapt and improve so it could be a device to look out for for sure.
Kev can you yell at these companies for us like mobapad to make a legion go aftermarket joycon. A mobapad m6 hd scaled up to like 120% and fits the legion go would make the device a whole lot better

I love my portal and only use it within my house and really don't experience any latency considering my PS5 is harder to gigabit LAN with the wireless shut off and 6E wireless. I wouldn't rely on the portal for out of house gameplay and if so I would'nt log onto unsecured wireless connections to play a game. The Portal suites my needs.

I would likely buy this if it was $100 less. Price doesn't really make a whole lot of sense otherwise, I could just add a few more shekels and get a Steam Deck.
